The Sucker

This is the only episode ever without Gumball in it! I admit that I really missed him, but this is such an awesome show it's still a great episode. This time we focus on a lesser known character known as Julius. It turns out he was the guy who appeared in various other episodes who happens to have a bomb for a head. This episode features him trying to manipulate Darwin into getting into trouble. It doesn't work out too well.

As usual, the jokes just keep coming and coming. There's one where Julius hurts his foot and then hurts it more by trying to kick Darwin. I knew in one scene that Darwin was going to literally use his head to try to open the door. They still do this great gag where his eyes and part of his face protrude out. I liked the joke with the giant teddy bear. Just watch this to catch all of it. ***1/2

Is it me, or have they seriously dumbed Darwin down this season? I mean, he wasn't exactly Einstein in previous seasons, but this is Patrick Star levels of dim-wittedness.
