  • I could consider this is my number one favourite Disney XD Original, aside from Pickle and Peanut (the coolest show I've seen), Future-Worm! (also a cool show), Ultimate Spider-Man vs. TSS (which is my favourite Marvel show), Motorcity (sadly, it cancelled for no reason, but I still like it), and Fangbone! (the best 3rd party, Disney XD-approved show). This show is funny, weird, surreal and awesome, with the characters too. The art could use some work though, but this show is just the way I like it. If you reviewers like them classic humor shows from the past, but looking on a modern take, this is the one for y'all.

(btw, my favourite character is Zeke, the one that is laid back and all-cool)

    Warning: Spoilers
Honestly, this show is not so good. Well, I had announced in August in Brazil, and I saw some episodes of the series, especially the last episode.   Just tell a story about a 7th grader named Billy and needed to do a job for the science fair. And with two friends, Zeke and Marsha, they make a "Chessetor" that serves to make holes in larger cheeses (but who will need bigger cheeses?). While a demonstration of this machine, the lightning struck the wired and electric grid, the machine breaks down and falls down, causing them to fall into an underground world and there, they experience adventures knowing creatures.

Well, I liked the idealization of upholding the hollow earth theory. But in my opinion, the plot is kind of silly and generic. It's amazing that Aaron Springer finally creates a series of his.

The animation is good though, it gets kind of weird and ugly when using comic strip designs, this looks like Garfield.

There are some idiot elements that I know, but, I do not know what, I just felt it.

Many of these episodes are boring and with jokes not funny

And especially, the last episode, in my opinion, is extremely generic. It only counts the last day of summer, and that Billy was a little "sentimental" because their friends do not want to fire him, he increases the exaggerated power in a diamond and then alien robots and robs him and makes the people of the underground prisoners. Then, with the help of their friends, they do a battle by destroying force fields, freeing prisoners and defeating robots. Only it appears the most generic of all a evil robot from the idgic to Billy and guess what, he defeated the robot. I did not like the episode, because this looks like an imitation of the last episode of Gravity Falls.

And also, despite the good songs and sung, the series could be better
  • I watched every last episode of this show back in late april of 2018. and i wasn't happy with it, nor was i enraged with it

i was just bored with it, to a point where i dozed off. not interested in what was going on

The show definitely has problems that i did notice: billey's voice is very grading, and you could easily confuse the character designs of this show with character designs from another show. Zeke for example looks so similar to Robbie from Gravity Falls, that i ended up thinking of robbie instead of Zeke

However, there are positives that i can give this show: Billey's rat looks so uninterested in what's going on that i just love the character. and his running gag of sipping the coffee made me chuckle in my watchthrough of the episodes, the villain character and his mother have some of the funniest moments in the entire series, and the animation is very reminiscent of school house rock and at times. The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy

Other than that. i don't have very much to say
  • Warning: Spoilers
Now, Billy Dilly's Super Duper Subterranean Summer caught my eye at first. Thinking it would be the best cartoon I have ever seen, I gave it a shot. The first thing I noticed is the art style. It's very..strange to say the least. It almost steals Garfield's art style, but that's fine. The next thing I noticed is the voices. WHERE DO I BEGIN?! Billy's voice got severely irritating after just one episode, I couldn't bare to listen or even watch anymore, but for the sake of my review, I went through hours of torture. It has driven me to insanity.

Let's take a brief break and talk about the ACTUAL GOOD THINGS in this garbage. The characters. Other than Billy Dilly, Marsha and Zeke are lovable. Marsha has her kind and loving personality, She is relatable, being paranoid at the least scary things. Zeke is also relatable. He is a more lazy type, but is open minded to anything. He's definitely witty and has a nice sense of knowing when to get up and help.

Back to my ranting, now. This show lacks any genius thinking whatsoever. Comedy is lacking as well. The plot does not exist just like all the other things i've listed in this paragraph thus far. Me, being a lady that laughs at anything, didn't crack a smile once during any episode. My team of critics did not either. The plot is just as empty as comedy. Billy falls in love with a thing that is ridiculous, such as a wart, worm, and what not, this thing disappears, he cries obnoxiously, Marsha and Zeke notice, Billy moves on.

In conclusion, the thing is AWFUL! When I could only list TWO THINGS positive about a whole show, wow. It says a lot.

Why Disney Xd i thought you showed me some good shows like Star Vs The Forces Of Evil, Phineas And Ferb, Milo Murphy's Law. Etc, but no you had the stupid idea of making the worst show in 2017 called Billy Dilley's Super Duper Subterranean Summer i'm glad it got cancelled the same year it premiered.
  • It's not funny but the writing is decent as far as the story.

The worst part of this show is the blatant rip-offs the main character designs are - a Larson 'Far Side' red-headed lead, supported by a young version of Jon Arbuckle from Garfield and Arlene the cat done as a human. There could be some other aspects to the female character's design too that I am forgetting or misplacing. It just looks entirely generic and a mish-mash of other people's character designs.

Compared with the uniqueness of a show like Pig Goat Banana Cricket (which I adore entirely, the humour, sound, Cooper's visual design and the writing), this show falls entirely flat.
  • Please don't. Just never, ever watch this show. It's garbage in every single way.
  • The show is about 3 friends who get trapped in the center of the earth. It's Uncle Grandpa meets Land of the Lost. There are so many problems with this show I don't know where to begin. 1) Billy is way too annoying he is always hyper he has the same problem as Deadpool he is always on. Even Peter Griffin as nutty as he is has his calm moments 2) his voice is absolutely terrible. He sounds like Eric Cartman sucking on a helium balloon. 3) They aren't in much of a rush to get home don't they miss their families, maybe they should be trapped in the center of the earth too. Or maybe at the End of every episode they can call writte letters to their parents my little Pony style and there is a portal inside a magic mail box that sends it to them and tell them about their Adventures. It comes off as callous and short sighted. 4) It's not funny in the slightest. It's from the Adventure Time/ Adult Swim school of try to hard to be weird and we'll give you a show it doesn't even have to be funny. This show would be greatly improved if they simply had better jokes. Weird doesn't automatically= funny they should come up with funny gags that just happen to be weird. No wonder it was cancelled quickly.
  • Its very entertaining, it has a plot and at Aaron made his own show! I don't want this show to cancel those people on you tube are just jealous because they don't have the skills like Aaron does. There's only one thing I want to change its Billy, Billy is SO annoying he gets on my freaking nerves. Also, I love Zeke and Marsha they are funny and very good characters! I don't want this show to end...so please give it some love!!!
  • This could be great. Zeke and Marsha are great characters. The environment is interesting (even though it looks like a acid trip). There are so many things that went right, but the issue is none other than Billy Dilly himself.

Billy has the most annoying voice ever. He is as dumb as SpongeBob. Ifor wasn't for Zeke and Marsha I would would be in the mental hospital for going insane. I hope it just lasts for one season
  • Watched this show with my friends and was delightfully surprised by genuine laughs and enjoyment of the show. The show doesn't really try to pander to a more mature audience (besides with Anaximander gags) but is still enjoyable to someone like me who is most definitely not the target audience. The main character, Billy Dilley, was really good and engaging as a silly main character, which is an easy aspect to fail when you try and make a main character with the purposes of the audience projecting themselves into the situation to contrast the wacky situation. Not sure if I would have watched it fully on my own rather than in the company of my friends but the show still left me with a high opinion of it's content.

I'm honestly sad that this show had to end so fast. I love the art style and character designs and billy himself is actually an interesting protagonist. If Billy dilley could come back i'd be happy....
