The French maid or at least her iconic costume is the source of a porn fetish that has stood the test of time. I suspect vintage French post cards documented it nearly a century ago, but in the motion picture world it is alive and well, even in lame Penthouse releases like this one.
What disappointed me most is that filmmaker Stuart Canterbury has been reliably directing interesting Adult features for over three decades now. Although latterly lapsing into porn-parody crap, he has so many winners to his name, including several from his previous stint at Penthouse a decade back, that this new one's blandness was a bummer.
The five vignettes about maids are boring, mere excuses to show off pretty femmes in their pretty costumes, getting humped. Alone in the cast able to rise above the enforced mediocrity is Valentina Nappi, Italian star who brings her maid to life in arousing fashion in the final segment. But it's a long, hard slog getting there.
