The writer and director, Yilmaz Erdogan, previously staged a play called Haybeden Gercekustu Ask that this film is based on. Although there was just one man and a woman played by Yilmaz Erdogan and Demet Akbag, who is also a prominent figure in Turkish cinema, respectively in the play, this film features four different couples. The scenario portrays some stereotypes in male-female relationships in an amusing and a witty way.
