  • This is hands down the best interview show that has ever existed, and for a number of reasons.

The first is that it's not edited, the talks go on as long as they take, and everyone is given an honest exchange without editing to make a point.

But, it goes further than just that, Joe Rogan will sit down and talk to anyone, and I mean ANYONE, including media pariahs and people that will clearly speak four feet above his head. It doesn't matter who they are, he's sitting down and talking to them.

And the thing is that he gets into the conversations, after three or four hours it's not uncommon to see him beg guests to stay just a little while longer because he's gotten into the conversation and that just draws you in further.

You get to hear a range of topics, politics, science, arts and entertainment, conspiracy theories, sports, martial arts, comedy, literally anything and everything that can be debated and discussed eventually makes it's way onto the show, so much so that, when you tune in, you never know who the next guest is going to be and discussed as the conversations meander and spin their way through the show at the whims of interests.

It's not the best in any category, but it's the only show with absolutely every category.

This redefines the term variety show
  • Where can i begin? Had it not been for Joe Rogan and his Powerful Podcast, I never would had begun training jiu jitsu and become the ultimate warrior and keeper of my domain. This podcast has advanced my IQ by 100 points (started at 160) and I have now been awarded countless Pulitzer's, Nobel, and been knighted by the Queen. Wow. Rogan is truly an inspiration. With my understanding of nature and wildlife (all harnessed from the likes of Rinella and Cam Hanes) I was able to boost my testosterone to Mark Coleman levels. What a ride. 10/10 would recommend.

I've been listening to the JRE since the very first episodes with the snowflakes.

The reason for listening to podcasts (instead of, say, your whenever o'clock news, or mockumentaries, or ad-riddled TV content, or sound-byte yelling matches that last less than 5 minutes by design) for me is threefold (and here I'm using JRE as an excellent example, but there are other podcasts I can recommend for the same reasons)

    1) Variety of content. For the stated goal of personal interest, the host has had an incredible range of guests, from mountain climbers to rocket scientists to hulking mma beasts to brainiacs, all with multiply contradicting points of view from which the listener learns a great deal as they get untangled during the podcast, from a variety of angles

    2) Clear intellect. Jordan Peterson crystallized this for me in a recent JRE podcast of his, but essentially clear intellect can be described as truthful intent, transparency in communicated thought, or just a certain "vibe" that you get from someone. Clear intellect from the host allows for the guests to open up and talk freely, rather than clam up and try to defend something, and it allows for limitlessly deeper discussion

    3) Uncensored for content and unedited for time. Pretty self explanatory. The lack of censorship should go without saying, but in today's world its kinda crazy that there's still rampant censorship "out there". But even more important for me is the lack of editing for time. Some podcasts have gone on for 3+ hours, and 2 hours seems the sweet spot. If you can enjoy a feature length film, why not a discussion between a professional conversationalist and a professional something-else about a variety of topics no less interesting than a film plot?

Bonus: portability. The audio-only nature (although many podcasts including JRE have a video portion that is sometimes useful) allows you to listen at ease during your commute, heads down coding sessions, whatever.
  • Joe talks with subject matter experts the way you and I would. Casual questioning to understand the issue rather than trying to support at a preconceived conclusion.

The vast majority of these types of shows succumb to the mainstream media intent to create conflict simply for entertainment, and to perpetuate the opinion tribalism that gets them ratings and gets us nowhere.

Joe's show doesn't. Of course he offers his own opinions and will combat opposing ones. As we all should--have an opinion, but examine counter-arguments with genuine intent to understand. Not to reject out of hand.

The end game should be to acquire non-propagandist information, induce self-reflection and practice empathy. Those happen here most times.

So why a 9 and not a 10? Because none of us are infallible.
  • Legendary status. Will go down in history as a Legend
  • Joe is so versatile and out there it's beyond impressive!..he has some great minds in this show and they all give him kudos and super mind-tingling convos..I could listen to this all day!...

Great and honest best broadcast to watch for sure This is hands down the best interview show that has ever existed, and for a number of reasons.

Joe is so versatile and out there it's beyond impressive, He has some great minds in this show.
  • The Joe Rogan experience is a fantastic podcast with loads of amazing guests. You can filter through the guest and listen to the ones that most interest you. Big fan!

Best podcast hands down. This is the gold standard. Nobody is close. It will only get bigger.
  • Great episodes that show how a podcast can outdo TV presented information in every way shape or form great content and great guest and topics ranging from poop jokes to top scientist with new information. Pretty much something for everyone!

Best podcast ever, JRE runs YouTube and Podcasting
  • Best talks. Funny, informative, Whacky, intelligent, random... etc. I can guarantee most people will Love every min of Joe's Podcasts, hes soo good at this. This is his true calling.
  • Joe Rogan is a fantastic interviewer. He always allows the guest to speak, feel comfortable, and often gets really interesting conversations out of people you wouldn't expect are that interesting. This however is also a negative. Due to his enthusiasm for interesting people and conversations, he sacrifices some morality to achieve it. Having conspiracy theorists and far right political figures (I'd criticize far left too, but he doesn't have them on his show) on the podcast only harm. Joe also loves to talk about how unsafe the vaccine is, then proceeds to intake untested medical methods when he contracted covid. Not to mention calling mask wearers names.

Would I give it a 1/10? Nah. I just rated it that to stand out to be able to show people why some don't love the show. In all honesty, when Joe isn't talking politics or current events, it's pretty entertaining. But when he is, avoid.
  • When I first started listening he was pretty good. But after awhile you see he talks about the same few things all the time.

Weed, mushrooms, A I and how we'll get implants in our brains. It's boring after awhile. I stopped listening because I felt I was losing brain cells. He has some very interesting people on, but he always goes back to weed, mushrooms and artificial intelligence.

He also talks about hunting a lot. Hunting is great, but Joe also hunts on ranches in Texas. They raise these animals to be hunted. Joe killing animals on a fenced in Ranch is not hunting. That's for rich people like you.
  • Sure Joe is a comic and sure he can state at times incorrect information, while stating that he is a moron and isn't qualified to give information, this is why he has qualified professionals on and has Jamie google A LOT of what he states to be true. He is BY FAR the GOAT interviewer, he plays dumb at times so that the audience can get the information from that perspective, when it is clear that he is intelligent and does know A LOT because he is insightful and questions things that should be, as we all should do. You don't need to be a genius to watch listen to this podcast thanks to Joe asking questions in a way that allows the audience from all walks of life to enjoy.

The Joe Rogan experience is a very entertaining show. Most episodes consist of the titular host interviewing celebrities, scientists, philosophers, musicians, and more. The episodes are one on one, very lengthy, and packed full of content; which isn't for everyone. The conversations are very raw and unscripted; which allows for lots of insight and unique dialogue. While Rogan may lack some self awareness, he has a unique personality and never seems too egotistic or pompous. For the most part he's amazing at getting his guests to talk; along with allowing them to speak, which for whatever reason seems to be rare for most popular interviewers. I highly recommend the podcast if you find a guest you enjoy or like Rogan's personality. JRE has been airing for over a decade, with hundreds of guests from all realms, so chances are you'll be able to find someone you're familiar with. Anyone willing to give the podcast a try should, just be aware of the mature topics discussed. 4/5 stars.
  • 2024 presidential debate will be hosted by Mr. Rogan to a live crowd of 100,000 Americans.
  • Joe seems to have that knack of talking with people to bring out the most interesting of conversations.

Yes some times the other person is more than a little dull but Rogan seems to be able to find something other than the single thing they are good at as no one is interested in every subject.

Actors, producers, directors, musicians, tech people, business people and even fellow cage fighters no matter what Joe keeps em talking until finally getting to those little somethings that will clicks with everyone.

You have to like podcasts or it may not be your thing and this show is a conversation rather than an interview.

The only issue is the length of the show which makes director's cuts of Lord of the Rings look short by comparison.

So beware, once you start watching...

    10/10
    GREAT
Joe is very insightful. Most of the people who leave low reviews only do it because they don't support his opinions which is kinda dumb but he's cool.

    Human
His interest with guests is never at question. You can see it in his eyes. At 75, I might be on the old scale but he makes me laugh and gives me pause to question and think.

However, my 27 y/o granddaughter saw him do a standup. She went away shaken and repulsed with his regular use of the word "retard". That's going to hit a lot of people in the heart and gut. She said she understood no taping allowed. I fully understand that too. But,I also understand if it was presented to his 11 million + viewers, it might not sit well but could break people's hearts. He, of course, is free to use the word. Much like his " N" word usage, he may come to regret using it. Life has a way of teaching us many lessons.

JRE is quite possibly the most significant and culturally iconic show that has existed in the technological age, his worldwide reach and viewing figures are beyond anything the traditional MSM combined can reach due to his honesty, inquisitive nature and vast knowledge. Joe Rogan has totally transformed the way information is spread with the media left or right no longer having a monopoly on what bias, narrative and slant is propagated by corporate legacy media which by no doubt is deemed as no longer being impartial, reliable or objective and has now become left wing propaganda by political activists.
  • The best show ever! I learn lot of things from the show, especially regarding space science and health.

Some of my favorite guests on the show are Elon Musk, Gavin,Bob Lazar, Quentin Tarantino, David Sinclair, Sean Carol,Brian Greene.
  • Most media is dull and by formula. This is just so massively different.

One thing struck me when I was listening to him talk to Kanye West. My friend said that KW is an idiot and I asked why, he mentioned a couple of things. I wasn't sure about KW either but after listening to him for almost 3 hours I really got a feeling for how creative and motivated for change he is. For example, instead of arguing against abortion, he says, first of all let's make child care, orphanages and adoption amazing alternatives.

This is just one example of how I changed my opinion on someone or something. If you are truly open-minded this show will move you on and help you be creative.
  • Joe has many amazing & engrossing episodes that make you think 3 hours is nothing. Jordan Peterson's appearances are at the very top. However Joe puts out a lot of boring stuff, and has his buddies on way too much for it to get more then a 7.
  • I wish Joe would quit offering advice and listen. Joe's interview with Miley Cyrus and his mansplaining is just so annoying and offensive. Joe - you are not her therapist so please quit acting like one. Miley was super gracious even though Joe kept giving her unsolicited advice like only a white middle-aged male can do.
