Circa 1969, several strangers, most with a secret to bury, meet by chance at Lake Tahoe's El Royale, a rundown hotel with a dark past. Over the course of one night, everyone will show their true colors - before everything goes to hell.

The desk clerk states that no alcohol can be served on the Nevada side of the hotel.
Nevada has had 24/7 alcohol sales everywhere but Native American reservations since the late 1950s. That would include any place that allowed gambling or served prepared foods such as a sit-down restaurant.
Darlene is shown singing in the background over the first half of the closing credits. Aside from this, there are no mid-credits/post-credits scenes.
