PG-13 | | Drama, Horror, Sci-Fi
In a post-apocalyptic world, a family is forced to live in silence while hiding from monsters with ultra-sensitive hearing.
None of the characters' names are mentioned during the movie, with the exception of youngest son Beau, whose name appears in his room.
It. Won't. Work.
Lee takes his son to the waterfall where he points out that natural sounds can mask their voices, yet makes no effort to take his wife there so that the screams from the impending childbirth could be hidden.
The main title appears after about nine minutes, created to look as though it is made from sand, and is the only on-screen credit aside from the opening production logos.
