The title "Turn it around" refers to the game of spin-the-bottle the kids are playing to initiate dares on each other. These mainly seem to mean they have to kiss someone. Bram is desperate that the bottle spins his way and connects him with Florian but he's out of luck each time - the bottle always chooses other victims.
A rapport has already been set up between the lads a couple of times when they've met, at Bram's initiation, in the garden. They know what they're getting into.
In the end Bram takes matters into his own hands when the bottle has its final spin. I loved the last spoken line of the film.
This was well acted and a terrific story.

This 9m24s Nordic gay-themed short is a coming of age story, Valentijn Ave whose mesmerizing eyes say more in their direction than some actors speak. The music is well adapted, especially the end credit song "Dance Away." Niels Bourgonje, 29 yr old directed & Edited fantastically. Already received several awards, look for him.
Timo Dries's geeky character reminds me of Anthony Michael Hall's performance in "Sixteen Candles." Would like to see more of Valentijn Ave too.
First of all, amazing cast on the main actor!
Those eyes and minute facial/body movements are amazing! He was able to reflect and show the realistic depiction of an awkward, ambivalent, shy love at first sight emotions!
I don't understand a damn word of what they were saying but wow! This short fil got me so romantically excited.
Well portrayed innocence of love at first sight!
Bravo!
P.S. More like this please :)

Almost surprising. A young director reflecting in splendid manner something who seems out of words. Exploring the movements of body. Using each nuance, gesture - the scenes of hands or line - up are more than magnificent - for give a portrait of a special coming up, with each steps of tension, desire and need to be yourself. Short, a little gem.
