Audrey and Morgan are best friends who unwittingly become entangled in an international conspiracy when one of the women discovers the boyfriend who dumped her was actually a spy.
The director and co-writer of the movie, Susanna Fogel, said that she wrote the movie with David Iserson because they were "looking for a hole in the marketplace - a good friendship movie with lots of action."

The opening scene is set to be happening in Vilnius, Lithuania. The car numbers are clearly not Lithuanian as well as the woman shouting in the market or the TV neither is using Lithuanian.
The title appears on-screen after almost 10 minutes and there are no opening credits. The end credits go on for more than eleven minutes, with two sequences shown during them.
