    The drama of conscience

We can see the TV is the drama of conscience. If you want the world to feel this positive energy, sometimes you have to put some dramatic truth; many people say that the second season is not necessary, but for this drama, if we can introduce more reflection in the second season, I believe that the afterwinds after the accident is worthy of discussion, after all the original novel halted some pity; several young actors are very good, played the role pretty good, which makes me wanna bit them.

Watch it to guide discussions about issues covered in the series

5/23/18. Teens watching the series will most likely not bother with this post-script analyses. They probably should watch it to get a better handle on what the people behind the series are trying to do. I liked the explanations for the reasons why they decided to tackle the issues in the series. The 2nd season finale was a bit disturbing, but if it generates discussion, then that's a good thing. This film can be used to guide discussions about issues teens deal with in their emotional and school lives.

as a fan of this show

It's almost laughable how contrived this is. At first I almost pulled off the belief that this was sincere, but 10 responses to questions of suicide, drug abuse, and sexual assault that sound like they were quoted from a pamphlet in a therapist's office later, it was a lost cause. And it's not that I think any of these actors don't take those things seriously, but I would've appreciated a less script-feeling interview that allowed their more genuine experiences on the set and feelings about these issues to come out. I understand that the show came under heat for statistics about suicide rates going up since the release of this show, so they're doing whatever they feel they need to to make it clear where they stand. It's just impossible to watch and a waste of an interview. It feels like being held captive by a commercial that you can't get away from and which lasts forever. Then you remember that you don't have to watch it and turn it off before it's over. Thank you I feel better. Literally in the time it took for me to write this, I was able to process through my feelings of disgust and disappointment, and psychically return to the moment where I was mourning alongside Clay, panicking about Tyler, and feeling excited and confused by the conundrum between Jess, Alex, and Justin. People understand where the writers and directors are coming from, without the infomercial tack.

A Means to Disgest the Series

When Season 1 of 13RW ends, it seems most appropriate to have a debriefing of what you just saw. In fact, I would think it would be neglectful not to. There are some loose ends needing to be tied to the viewer emotionally and this explanation after the series helps to have some closure. I appreciated the feedback from the actors after they were done with their roles and the explanation for the scenes and also the psychological behavior of teens and people in general suffering from trauma. I hope to see more from this director, these producers, and hopefully from this series. Captivating and moving.
