  • Great Story song, really touchy. Shows actual relationship about father and daughter, this also happens in everyone's life as father tries to do hardwork as he can do so that his family lives well and healthy without thinking about himself....
  • Warning: Spoilers
Here we have the music video for the Eminem song "When I'm Gone". The entire thing runs for 6 minutes, not for 4 as it says here on IMDb. That's just the lyrics, but there is an introduction where we see Eminem at a self help group and we hear another speaker before Eminem eventually steps ahead and start rapping his story to the other members. The director is experienced music video director Anthony Mandler and the story and lyrics are by Eminem himself together with Luis Resto, the man who won an Oscar together with Eminem a couple years before this music video. The latter is from 2005, so it's also already over 10 years old and Eminem was in his mid-30s at that point. There are some songs by him from that time that I kinda like, but this is not one of them I must say. I hoped rapping about his daughter as he did so many other times helped him a bit, but to me it never felt like a good watch or listen. And finally, the clapping by the other group members is honestly a bit cringeworthy. That is when the project hits rock-bottom and is not just mediocre and forgettable, but actually bad. Skip this one.
