  • This movie seriously has issues. Not only was the plot ridiculously boring, the whole movie was boring. It was a waste of money. If you really want to watch it, I suggest waiting for it to go on DVD or something because this movie is not --worth-- going to the theater for.

The acting was horrendous to say the least. Arci and Gerald had not chemistry what so ever. This is a love story and I did not --once-- feel the love between them. They were super --awkward-- and Arci -- overacts- -. She is trying too hard.

Don't waste your time or money watching this at the theater.

I enjoyed this movie immensely. Because it is a perfect reflection of current Philippine society, where career women are glorified.

So in this movie, we have a career woman with a jobless, but loving boyfriend and guess what? - she is not happy.

He is not exactly lazy just because he plays video games all day. He actually cooks twice in this movie. And splits rent money from his "gigs". But the career woman is not satisfied - because he forgot to fill up the cool water bottles, and he does not have a stable job like she does.

They broke up eventually because of this reason: he cannot take care of himself so how are they going to make a family - her exact words.

So that's the movie right there. This career woman who makes money, cannot live with a guy who does not make money - so she can quit her job and raise a family ? Wait What !?

Now imagine if the role were reversed. A career guy who makes money with a jobless loving girlfriend, who is lazy but does the cooking. Perfectly normal and acceptable, a perfect match even.

So to continue, they broke up and this career woman got a new guy. A fella who is rich indeed but does not love her as much as the previous guy. Nah ! She wants both love and money !

Meanwhile, the previous guy got a job and settled in for another girl who also plays video games all day - the role reversal. The previous guy also does not want anything to do with the career woman anymore, even hiding his phone and house address.

You could have just left the movie right there. But since a happy ending is required in every Filipino movie for the sake of ticket sales, a divine intervention is needed - her dog got sick. In the end she got what she wanted, the previous guy now has money and he still loves her. Hurray for being Filipino !

In real life just NO. Career women ends up with a dozen cats. In real life, career women who makes money, wants a man who makes even more money, so she can throw her entire career and retire and have kids at home. What a waste.
