  • Warning: Spoilers
Dana Vespoli has a great time playing the "bad guy" in this tongue-in-cheek script of hers, dealing with a somewhat novel subject of a lesbian wife (played by Dana herself) suffering from porn addiction. The auteur credits the movie "Little Children" (starring Patrick Wilson and Kate Winslet) for inspiration for several story elements, not obvious to me.

Dana's mate is played by Nina Elle, quite sympathetic compared to the aloof, self-centered Dana role. In-joke has Nina confiding to her new babysitter for couple's child Sophie (never visible on screen) played by ever-young Claire Robbins that she used to be a stripper before they got married and Dana was attracted to her because "she told me I looked like a porn star - Nina Elle". In the DVD's BTS short subject, Nina thanks Dana for ending up hiring "the real Nina Elle" for the role.

Dana portrays a philosophy professor on sabbatical to write a book (but we find out. She spends a lot of time instead watching lesbian porn via Sweetheart DVDs -another in-joke), while wife Nina runs her own tattoo parlor. That plot element pays off as later on she discovers Dana is cheating on her with a tattooed porn star, played by Kleio Valentien (we see their sexy tryst together).

An extraneous sex scene (quite typical of these 4-sex-segments Sweetheart videos) features Kim Kane as a literature professor working with Dana who finds time to seduce Claire.

After Dana flees after her spouse discovers she's been cheating, Claire comforts Nina with some Sapphic sex, leading to an amusing finish of Dana catching them in the act and declaring: "This is awkward...We're even" -the screen goes to black for a snappy conclusion.
