This week the Academy announced the ten finalists for documentary short and the ten finalists for animated short. The Oscar charts are updated. At least 5 of those 20 are available to watch online. You've probably already seen the wonderful animated coming-out short "In a Heartbeat" that was so popular online earlier this year but it won't be the only tiny Oscar-seeker with big value. That's why the short categories are wonderful, quite often you get much artistic bang for little buck.
Will get to the animated docs later but of the ten doc short Oscar options there are four you can watch online...

For many Batman fans there is no question as to who portrayed the iconic Catwoman best. Oscar-nominated actress Michelle Pfeiffer says she "loved" playing Catwoman in Tim Burton's 1992 Batman Returns. Now in a recent interview with the New York Times Pfeiffer reveals that she would have loved to play the patent leather villainess in her own solo film:
“Are you kidding me? In a heartbeat,” Pfeiffer said. “I loved that part. I felt like I was just getting comfortable and getting used to the claws and the mask, just figuring out how to move in all of that. There was a little bit of talk about that, then that kind of faded away.”
You might recall that earlier this summer Pfeiffer called her Catwoman outfit "the most uncomfortable costume I've ever been in," as she recalled how difficult it was for costumers to get her into the skin-tight suit.

Michelle Pfeiffer says a standalone “Catwoman” movie was almost made in the ’90s following her memorable take as the femme fatale feline in “Batman Returns,” and had she been asked to reprise her role, she would have done it “in a heartbeat.” Would the “Murder on the Orient Express” actress have slipped the cat suit back on a decade before Halle Berry stepped into the role? “Are you kidding me? In a heartbeat. I loved that part,” Pfeiffer said in a new profile in the New York Times. “I felt like I was just getting comfortable and getting used to the.

Michelle Pfeiffer will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe next year when she debuts as Janet Van Dyne Aka the original Wasp in 2018’s Ant-Man and the Wasp. However, as old school superhero film lovers will know, this isn’t the actress’ first time in a comic book movie. That’s because Pfeiffer previously starred as Selina Kyle/Catwoman in 1992’s Batman Returns.
Though the flick itself often divides people over its surreal, dark content, pretty much every Batman fans agrees that Pfeiffer is tremendous in it, arguably remaining the finest cinematic take on the character to this day. Could she ever play the role again, though? That remains to be seen, but Pfeiffer herself is up for the idea.
While chatting with The New York Times, the actress said that she would love to reprise the part and also revealed that at one point, there was talk of doing a spinoff.

Last week, we pointed out a report that said Chip and Joanna Gaines ended their series Fixer Upper because they were unhappy with their contract at Hgtv. A source said the Gainses would do another series if the price was right. Chip and Joanna immediately denied that claim, saying they were ending the series for personal and family reasons. Now in a new interview, Chip Gaines says they'd do a series again "in a heartbeat," raising hope that the Gainses might be back on the air again soon.

Chip and Joanna Gaines thought Hgtv stardom would be easy money, not realizing the restrictions of their contracts and the work they’d have to put in to make “Fixer Upper” successful, but they’d do it all again.

Right away this is a cute and engaging film that would have a lot of people supporting it and just as many, if not more, up in arms about its content and the fact that it is showing two little boys falling in love. While the message of the cartoon is clear it also would be torn apart for the sheer audacity of claiming the two young boys could possibly know at this point in their lives that they are in any way homosexual. The argument to this is that the body and mind, and especially the heart, know how
