We previously reported on Holker revealing her late husband’s drug “cornucopia,” one that she discovered just before his funeral.
She has been giving interviews ahead of her upcoming book.
But the details that she has revealed, including a stash of drugs and more, have angered the Boss family.

A host of new names have been added to the cast of dark comedy The Gallerist, joining the already-announced Natalie Portman and Jenna Ortega.
Details regarding filmmaker Cathy Yan’s The Gallerist are being kept mostly under wraps, but here’s what we do know so far: the dark comedy is set to enter production next month in France and has been written by the Birds Of Prey director alongside James Pederson. Yan will direct with the story said to ‘focus on a desperate gallerist who conspires to sell a dead guy at Art Basel Miami’ – the latter being an upscale art show where tickets are around $85 per person (though kids get in for $10).
The project has already cast Natalie Portman and Jenna Ortega. Thanks to World Of Reel, we’ve picked now up details regarding the supporting cast for The Gallerist – and it’s quite an ensemble.

Daveed Diggs is joining the world of “The Boys” as a series regular in Prime Video series’ fifth and final season. Details on Diggs’ role are being kept under wraps.
Based on Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s graphic novel series where the superheroes are the bad guys, “The Boys” is set in a world in which a substance can turn people into superheroes. As such, a legion of corporate-backed celebrity supes enacts their own sense of justice while posing for cameras and covertly doing wet work for the government — kind of like an evil Avengers. The show follows a group of regular humans who work to bring the superheroes down.
“The Boys” is executive produced by Ennis, Robertson, showrunner Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Michaela Starr, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Judalina Neira, Jessica Chou, Ken F. Levin and Jason Netter.

Gyllenhaal's next film, Guy Ritchie's In The Grey, marks his fifth collaboration with a director, Ritchie and Gyllenhaal's reunion is a testament to their strong working relationship, as seen in their previous film, The Covenant. The potential for Gyllenhaal and Ritchie to continue working together after In The Grey holds promise for future projects.
Jake Gyllenhaal's next action movie In The Grey will see him repeat an all-too-rare directing feat. Since his breakout role in cult favorite Donnie Darko, Jake Gyllenhaal's movie CV has evolved into one of the most interesting of his contemporaries. He occasionally turns up in the most mainstream projects imaginable, but he often opts for more eclectic fare like Nightcrawler. In recent years, the star seems to enjoy making action films, fronting the likes of Michael Bay's Ambulance or Amazon hit Road House.

From a shady district attorney in “The Batman” to a real-life rapist in “Boys Don’t Cry” and a harrowing disembodied voice in “The Guilty,” Peter Sarsgaard is often known for characters teetering on the edge of morality. But the actor is quick to shrug off any black-and-white labels of good versus evil.
Sarsgaard, who recently appeared in the Apple TV+ series “Presumed Innocent” and now leads the indie “Coup!,” told IndieWire that he’s wary of the villain label despite audiences wanting to classify characters a certain way.
“It’s funny because for me, obviously with ‘Presumed Innocent’ now, to me I’m not a villain in that. I’m just a guy who lives by himself. I’m playing a decent person in that,” Sarsgaard said. “I’m playing a decent person in ‘Memory,’ the movie that I won the Golden Cup [the Best Actor award at the 2023 Venice Film Festival] for. I’m playing a decent person in ‘Dopesick.

Rene Russo’s big break in “Major League” came with a minor problem.
The “Major League” writer/director David S. Ward recalled during the “Hollywood Gold” podcast (via Entertainment Weekly) that Russo was “so nervous” both in the audition and on set that she kept using her hands too much in scenes. As a result, Ward opted to “tie down” her hands so Russo could temper her gestures. “Major League” marked Russo’s first role.
“The only problem we had with her was she’s Italian, and when she gets going there’s a lot of the hands, a lot of the talking with the hands, you know?” Ward said. “And they would be flying across her face.”
While filming the 1989 baseball comedy that co-starred Charlie Sheen, Ward told Russo to keep her hands out of her own face.

A Pisces, a Taurus, a Capricorn, a Leo, a Virgo, and an Aquarius walk into a rented mansion for their Libra friend’s birthday party. The seven college kids soon run out of booze, go poking around in places they shouldn’t, and summon a fate worse than death when they find a mysterious deck of cards harboring a hidden evil. Title card: “Tarot.” All signs… point to yikes.
Written and directed by Spenser Cohen and Anna Halberg, Screen Gems’ latest scary movie is willfully ridiculous. It’s also the most original take on the haunted party game since last year’s well-loved “Talk to Me” with its own franchising potential as a supernatural series. If open-minded audiences buy into this transparently trendy gimmick and its melodramatic narrative execution, what feels like a spiritual “Final Destination” spinoff — told by way of an Urban Outfitters’ small gifts display — could very well...

Jake Gyllenhaal stars in the intense legal drama Presumed Innocent based on Scott Turow's novel. Series premieres June 12 on Apple TV+ with episodes released weekly.

Kelley, Presumed Innocent is based on the 1987 novel of the same name by Scott Turow. It examines what happens when a prosecutor becomes the prime suspect in the murder of one of his colleagues. But the legal drama takes a lurid, twisted turn and echoes Gyllenhaal's work in Nightcrawler and Velvet Buzzsaw.

The adaptation premieres with the first two episodes on Wednesday, June 12, followed by a new episode every Wednesday through July 24.

Marvel Studios is back with its first new movie since “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” and, should the release schedule hold, its last new movie until the third “Deadpool,” which doesn’t come out until next July.
This being a Marvel movie, there are characters old and new to keep track of, as our heroes jet across the galaxy in an attempt to thwart a massive threat to our world and countless others.
Here’s a complete cast and character guide for “The Marvels.” The only folks we have left out are the ones you definitely don’t want spoiled.
Marvel Studios Brie Larson as Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel
Carol Danvers is a former test pilot turned superhero, whose origins were traced in “Captain Marvel” and who was last seen in 2019’s “Avengers: Endgame,” lending a hand in what is now canonically referred to as the Battle of Earth.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is making its return to the big screen once again as "The Marvels" is hitting theaters. This not only serves as a sequel to 2019's "Captain Marvel," but it's also building on Disney+ shows like "WandaVision" and "Ms. Marvel" with a pair of new heroes joining Carol Danvers to form a new super team. Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani are uniting with Brie Larson as Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan, respectively. As the catchphrase goes: Higher, further, faster.
It should not be lost on MCU fans that this is the first new team we've been introduced to in some time. If we don't count the trio of Spider-Men at the end of "No Way Home," we would have to go back to "Eternals." That makes this an important film in Phase 5. But is it important enough to have a credits scene? That's what we're here to discuss!

The art world is a cutthroat and judgemental arena. You’re the cat’s pajamas one day, but you’re old news if you take too long to deliver your next masterpiece. Surrounded by snobbery, bitter wine, and diamond-encrusted vultures waiting to pick your talented bones clean, artists endure a lot to remain relevant, and some would even kill for the chance to keep their spot in the public eye. In today’s The Kill Room trailer, a hitman, his boss, and an art dealer concoct a money laundering scheme that accidentally turns an assassin into an overnight avant-garde sensation.

As non-industry folk are hopefully learning during the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, the vast majority of the union's members are not multi-millionaires. Acting is a job, and if you want to maintain a successful career, you can't always be as picky as you'd like to be. You have to audition aggressively, take what's offered, and, as soon as you've completed the gig, start fretting about doing it all over again.
If you're really lucky, you might eventually piece together a body of work that serves as a calling card. At this point, you're a known quantity, someone for whom a writer might create a character. Or perhaps your strengths as a performer will make you a director's first choice for a specific role.

The Marvels' villain is a mysterious character with strong connections to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Captain Marvel sequel arrives in Phase 5 as part of the Multiverse Saga, but its main story does not revolve around alternate universes and variants. The Marvels follows Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), and Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) as their lives and powers become entangled. For as much as the movie might focus on the trio forming relationships, repairing existing ones, and more, they will also all work together to fight a villain. Questions still largely remain about who The Marvels' villain is and what they want.
Marvel Studios has finally offered some clues about the next foe for Captain Marvel thanks to The Marvels trailer. In addition to showing the first look at the team-up between Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Ms. Marvel, it also briefly teases the threat that brings them together.

Warning! Spoilers for The Power!
With The Power’s debut, Amazon Prime’s latest series portrays a varied cast of characters with complex dynamics. One of the most fascinating elements of The Power’s premise is its scope, with electrical abilities developing in many women across the world. To tell such a broad story means balancing the experiences of characters in a variety of cultures and social classes, and as such, the cast of The Power is a diverse one. However, this can be overwhelming to keep up with as the show begins with five main stories right away.
Overall, The Power portrays what happens when women begin to develop electrical powers across the world, leading to a massive power shift around the globe. Specifically, the show documents this shift from a variety of perspectives, including a politician and her daughter in the U.S., a gangster’s daughter in Britain,...

Jake Gyllenhaal and Dennis Quaid play father and son in Disney’s new animated movie “Strange World,” but it’s not the first time the actors have played family members on screen. Not that Gyllenhaal would remember, apparently. A recent “Strange World” junket interview with Yahoo Entertainment has gone viral for depicting Gyllenhaal seemingly forgetting that Quaid once played his father in “The Day After Tomorrow,” Roland Emmerich’s 2004 disaster movie.
“You and Jake obviously played father and son in ‘The Day After Tomorrow,'” the Yahoo reporter tells Quaid, who was participating in a joint “Strange World” interview with Gyllenhaal.
“We did?” Gyllenhaal cut in. “Oh…Oh, oh! Whoah! That’s the guy who played my dad.”
“It’s the first time we’ve been in the same room together,” Quaid said. “That’s me.”

The Netflix adaptation of The Sandman has been long anticipated both by early fans of the DC comic and by those who have come to enjoy the many wonderful Neil Gaiman televised offerings, from Good Omens to American Gods. But even with the inherent appeal of the classic comic and its creator, there’s something thrilling about recognizing an actor that’s been cast in a key role from other work that they’ve done, especially if it happens to be genre fare that makes them seem particularly suited for their part.
The cast of The Sandman includes many fresh faces that will no doubt become more recognizable as the series gains an audience. But below are some of the more seasoned actors that viewers will instantly recognize and get excited about seeing in their new roles.

“Minions: The Rise of Gru” set off fireworks at the box office, collecting 108 million over the weekend. By the time that July 4th rolls around on Monday, the animated family film is expected to reach a sizable 127.9 million.
Based on those estimates, “Minions: The Rise of Gru” will smash the record for the highest film opening over Independence Day, overtaking Paramount’s 2011 blockbuster “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” (115.9 million over four days).
Ticket sales for the fifth installment in Universal and Illumination’s popular “Despicable Me” franchise are a comforting sign that family crowds haven’t entirely forgotten about movie theaters. Hollywood had been looking at “Minions: The Rise of Gru” to test the viability of animated flicks on the big screen after moviegoers with young kids — a demographic that’s vital in driving overall box office revenues — had returned only in fits and starts.

Five years ago, Zawe Ashton was considering leaving acting. Then she landed the female lead in “Velvet Buzzsaw.” Her Broadway debut in “Betrayal” followed, as did a part on “The Handmaid’s Tale” and a top-secret role in the “Captain Marvel” sequel “The Marvels.” She can next be seen in Regency-era rom-com “Mr. Malcolm’s List,” based on the novel by Suzanne Allain and directed by Emma Holly Jones. Ashton plays Julia Thistlewaite, who is rejected by Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù’s eligible bachelor Jeremy Malcolm for not meeting the requirements on his list for an ideal bride. Julia calls upon her old school friend Selina Dalton (Frieda Pinto) to deliver justice in the July 1 Bleecker Street release.
How did “Mr. Malcolm’s List” find its way to you?

Director Emma Holly Jones makes her feature debut with “Mr. Malcolm’s List,” an adaptation of the novel by Suzanne Allain, who also wrote the screenplay. Jones and Allain also collaborated on a short film adaptation of the book in 2019, and the feature film sees many of the stars reprising their roles.
Set in Regency-era England amongst the high-stakes mating rituals of the upper class, “Mr. Malcolm’s List” will obviously call to mind the filmed adaptations of Jane Austen’s work and, of course, the Netflix smash hit series “Bridgerton.”
Following the lead of “Bridgerton” (even though the short film was released before the sexy series swept us off our feet in 2020), Jones’ film boasts a refreshingly diverse cast. These aristocratic families are racially blended, and the color-blind casting enables some wonderful performances.

Someone call 9-1-1, because Jake Gyllenhaal may have just secretly made his directorial debut.
Soon after sister Maggie Gyllenhaal earned several nominations for stepping behind the camera as both writer and director of Oscar-nominated Netflix film “The Lost Daughter,” Jake Gyllenhaal reportedly directed scenes for Michael Bay’s “Ambulance.”
Gyllenhaal stars as a bank robber who teams up with his brother, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, for their largest heist yet. When their plan goes south, the duo end up hijacking an ambulance as a getaway vehicle.
Abdul-Mateen told Esquire that Gyllenhaal “loves the camera,” and even took over as a director for certain scenes.
“There were times when he would take the camera from Mike [Bay] and then you look around and Jake is shooting the scene,” Abdul-Mateen said. “I had never seen anything like that before. I’m curious about those things, but I would never ask the...
