This was pretty much like a bad high school project: awful script, awful acting, awfully directed and even worse editing.

Save your time or watch paint dry instead.

The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 was the end scene where the baddie's johnson was still clearly erect after being chopped off and that was just hilarious - and that scene pretty much summarizes the quality of this "movie".

Really just a Gory movie anyone could make. If you like Blood and gore this movie is for you.
  • Starts well. Turns dumb. Lots of screaming. Lots of gore. If you like this kind of stuff; it's all here for you.
  • Please watch this film so you will see that their current score of 8.0 must be from fake reviews. Terrible script, very amateurly made, low budget and so many mistakes. Disappointing.
  • This is beyond terrible that I truly believe the ratings for this were charity ratings given by friends, and even then they couldn't bear to give it more than 6 or 7 out of 10. It deserves a negative rating for wasting people's time.

Don't watch. Not sure how this movie has 7.5 rating. 2 hours that I'll never get back again!

Kira is as dumb as horse meat chicken nugget. She gets a call by some random dude, but don't bother to check if he's legit or tell anyone where she is going. 2019 cars or phones in the down under has no GPS even when every car and phone on the planet made after 2009 has it. The reason why she's so hard up is her handler told her she was too old(she looks exactly 24). Why she didn't starring in TV ads instead of shiaty g grade horror movies is beyond me. You can't really spoil this because you know the entire plot within seconds.
  • Was this supposed to be a comedy? Bad plot, bad acting. Just bad all over. Please don't bring out The Final Final scream. It doesn't even deserve one star. Even if you're desperate, it's so not worth your time.

    Warning: Spoilers
I'm a huge Kate Lister fan, I've loved her work since I first saw her in Inhinged and Foxtrap. This one she plays an actress who is lured to an isolated farm deep in the woods by 3 sick individuals pretending to be in the movie business. Along with a few other actresses, they discover the three of them are filming a snuff film. This movie sort of moved along pretty slow until the bloody and torturous killings begin. This movie was perfect and seemed realistic. Good acting and some nasty gory killings, especially one scene at the end that will make you cringe.

    Warning: Spoilers
Kia (Kate Lister) is lured into a horror film casting from a web posting with no credentials. She gets the lead role in a very low budget film called "The Final Scream." There is a "helluva twist" that we see coming for miles. The action takes place late in the film. It was a complete bore up to that point and not too exciting afterward.

Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.
  • THE FINAL SCREAM

Written & Directed by Scott Jeffrey Produced by Scott Jeffrey & Rebecca J Matthews

Starring: Kate Lister Becca Hirani Marc Ozall Cassandra French Thomas Mailand

Kia, receives news that she has made the final cut to be cast as Melissa in a low budget horror movie. She is suspicious on arriving on location, as she seems to be the only person invited along to the shoot. It soon becomes apparent that things are not as they seem, as Kia discovers the whereabouts of the other cast members....

Things soon take a terrifying twist as Kia finds herself in a horror film within a horror film and has no choice but to give her most convincing performance yet.

As time passes without a word from Kia, her girlfriend Reese is so worried about her that she, along with a friend, decides to set out to look for her. Will they both survive?

This was an excellent movie, very creepy, set in a remote location for realism for the horror film being made. Extremely bloody & violent. A suspenseful horror shocker with a killer twist and boasting a brilliant cast of actors..Loved it!

A must see movie for all horror fans.

I'm not sure where these negative reviews are coming from. Everyone is like "charity ratings," what was so bad about this movie? I do find the premise kind of dumb that she goes without any background checks, but she lost her agent prior to it and it was told to us that she had used that website before. I'm not understanding the flaws besides the accent. While I don't think it's a perfect film and the acting could have been much better, this is being so unfairly critiqued. The only complaint I have is how dumb the characters are. There could have been 3, or at least 2 survivors. Unfortunately not once, but TWICE the characters fail to check to see if the apprehenders are dead. This ends up killing two interesting characters. I think Reese kind of outacted and or would have been a final girl honestly. I would have liked to see Jade (?) as well. Sadly both of them die in unbelievably stupid ways. I wish they would have just checked to see if the killers had died. Unfortunately that did not happen. Another complaint is the synopsis, why not just remove the "things start to go wrong," that basically gives the movie away. I had no doubt who the killers were once I saw that. Other than that it plays the suspense element beautifully and spends most of the movie at the final scene.

If negative ratings were possible this would be worthy of one. Waste of time. Predictable story. Nearly falls into the "so bad it's good" category but even that would be a stretch. I feel sorry for the cast more than anything else because it will be very difficult to be taken seriously after this. Some laugh out loud moments that weren't meant to be funny. Just a really bad film and I am being generous.

This is a shame that it has a rating of 7.5 No story, bad acting, not scary at all...
  • Bad Acting! Bad Script! No horror, no suspense, no mistery. Everything is so predictable. False Rating! They must have paid for the rating. I hope IMDB kicks all the fake ratings. I want these 90 minutes of my life back! Now! I will blacklist any actor, scriptwriter and production firm involved in this.
  • This left so little impact that I can't even remember if I hated it or just didn't like it. I'm pretty sure it was just-barely-not-like. A desperate-for-work actress goes online herself without an agent. By doing so she accepts a job without any references. The job is at an isolated location and the crew is skeleton. Come to find out the film is to the death, and the crew likes it that way. It's up to her girlfriend and her ex-agent to save her. Or does she save herself?
  • Firstly to clear that this is not scream franchise movie. It is totally standalone movie based on typical Hollywood torture drama. A psycho horror film maker wants real expression of characters in horror situations of his movies. For that he trapped new comers and gets them tortured to kill. Kia ( Kate Lister) found herself into this trap and realise to fear of her future. Along with her two other ladies also came under danger when they tried to save Kia. What is the end, see movie? End is expected but should have more powerful. Beware from nasty torture drama. Here is no suspense that who is killer (like Scream Franchise), rather than you have to watch killing until the end and drama is unnecessarily stretching somewhere. Acting by Kate Lister is just brilliant. Expression of new comer actress and acting in frightened situation both are good. Recommend for once watching
  • The actress keeps slipping in and out of her natural Australian accent to her character's American one. Other than that obvious flaw, the idea is good but script and acting were barely okay.
