As one reviewer stated, there is good writing and humor but it is typical Mexican humor with a lot of slang, double takes and a satire that pokes fun at the lower social-economic class of Mexico and what educated Mexicans would consider people with "bad taste".

In Mexico, almost comedy shows are based with this type of humor, a humor you really need to understand Mexican culture to understand. And although I understand it - I often still wonder what makes it so popular and people like it so much.

I really think it's a cultural thing within the different type of classes and cultures in Mexico. Most often it's people raised/lived a long time in the bigger cities who will understand the humor in these types of sitcoms but unpopular with folks in the outer, smaller towns, even though they might understand the humor.

Only show worth watching on spanish tv. Funny and adventurous! No cussing , violence...like watching 3's Company. Fun innocent show about LIFE. LOVE THE ENTIRE CAST!

The other review here is absolutely wrong and it's great actors great story lines great writing tremendous humor and it's just a perfect show all around trust me you need to check it out because why form an opinion on some thing that you haven't even checked out like are you seriously you cannot let that guy not let you check the show out

This show is pretty much a masterpiece. As a Spanish sitcom this show is great, the appeal, the acting, even the story line, it is everything you'd expect from a great Spanish show. The first reviewer said they seen it on vacation as did I and it made my trip that much better. I would suggest this show to anyone with a true sense of humor. I honestly only know a handful of Spanish words and I still found this show extremely enjoyable, please don't let one badly written review of this show turn you away from nosotros los guapos!
