| Can be a very important film in Cinema history
Good film, but only those who have a lot a knowledge in Hollywood and Cinema history are going to really appreciate some things in the movie and now that we are entering in a new decade in cinema with all those streaming services and comic books movies, Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood can really be a very important film.

Trivia

Cliff and Rick watch an episode of The F.B.I. (1965) in which an Army truck is hijacked. A producer went to a local source for film vehicles searching for a similar truck to recreate the scene and, to his surprise, he was taken to the actual truck used in the TV show. They cleaned it up, gave it a fresh coat of paint and used it in this movie.

Quotes

Bounty Law Promo Announcer: This man is worth 500 dollars. And this man's going to collect. He's Jake Cahill, and he lives by... "Bounty Law".

Goofs

The on-screen claim by Janet that Bruce Lee was the "series lead" in The Green Hornet (1966) is incorrect. He was the sidekick. Those of a later generation might think otherwise because much of the art for Green Hornet promotional materials for re-runs was shifted to featuring Lee once he became famous in his own right. The star, who played the title character, was Van Williams.

Crazy Credits

Tim Roth's credit reads "Tim Roth [Cut]". His part was cut from the final film.

Alternate Versions

In the teaser trailer and the next 2 theatrical trailers some shots from deleted scenes are shown.

  • Cliff Booth see Charles Manson walking away from Sharon Tate's house. Both exchange looks. Charlie initially greets Cliff, later Charlie grunts at him.
  • Sharon Tate dancing in a black dress in a moving stage.
  • Mr. Schwarz salutes the projectionist before entering the projection room.
  • Sharon Tate swimming in her pool.
