Paul Scheer's Twisters cameo is unexpected, and while it was fun to see the actor make a small appearance in the film, the reason why he was in the movie is still a bit mysterious. Twisters is a legacy sequel to the 1996 hit Twister, and despite the two films being part of the same franchise, there are very few references to the original movie. No original Twister characters return in Twisters, which is why it is a bit strange that the film gave Paul Scheer a cameo and not anyone from the original cast.
Scheer is a comedian and actor who has appeared in some incredibly popular projects, such as Veep, Fresh Off the Boat, and Big City Greens. His most popular TV shows, however, are FX's The League and Showtime's Black Monday, both of which got Scheer even more notoriety in the TV comedy circuits. However, one...

Primos creator Natasha Kline has known since she was little that she wanted to make her own show. “I was five years old and I was like, “I want to be an animator,’” she recalls.
Equally influential on the childhood of the director/writer/storyboard artist was her large, diverse family and hometown of L.A., a giant city where “there’s grit and there’s dust and there’s texture.” It’s a place she loves for the “real people who live here, despite what the world thinks of Hollywood as this glamorous place.”
Growing up, the creative hadn’t really seen a series that reflected her coming of age as a Latina with two dozen cousins in the Inland Empire. Hey Arnold!, the beloved ‘90s animated series set in a fictitious and amalgamous American city, got somewhat close, thanks to its setting and central characters who “are able...

The report should serve as a wake-up call to streamers who take younger audiences for granted, especially as they continue to add live sports.
Could an avalanche of new sports deals for streaming platforms be coming? The floodgates certainly seem to have opened, as more and more streaming providers like Disney+, Prime Video, and even Netflix are adding live sports content to their on-demand services. But is this what future generations of audiences want? A new report from the Financial Times cites two surveys that indicate that Gen Z viewers aren’t watching live sports at anywhere near the level of older generations, and that means streaming services will have to get more creative to bring in younger customers in a future where sports are increasingly found on digital platforms.
Key Details: One survey shows that only 31% of viewers aged 18-24 watched a live sporting event in 2023. Only 53% of Gen Zers identify as sports fans,...

Brooklynn's fate in Jurassic World: Chaos Theory is sealed as Jenna Ortega steps back amid her rising stardom. Ortega's step back is shocking, given she voiced the role of Brooklynn for all of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous' seasons. Ortega's packed schedule with major projects explains her exit, leading to Brooklynn's death driving the narrative of the sequel.
The trailer for Jurassic World: Chaos Theory reveals the fate of Camp Cretaceous camper Brooklynn, whose death is assumed to be a consequence of Jenna Ortega's ever-increasing fame. Ortega may have shot into the limelight after starring in the Netflix knockout show Wednesday but has performed in plenty of other recognizable roles and fostered a solid animation career, voicing characters in series like Elena of Avalor, Big City Greens, and Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. In the Jurassic World animated spinoff series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, Ortega voiced camp member Brooklyn through all five seasons.
