  • Starts with argument over who shot the rabbit that leads to kid wanting revenge for the death of his father. As a candy vendor, he kills a guy in a casino. There is a second guy who gets recruited to work for the bad guys but he is trying to get inside the gang for revenge. The two guys hook up near the end.

There are a lot of fights in this movie. By about the 20 minute mark they all start to look alike. Someone apparently noticed that just in time and they started using poles. Problem solved. There continued to a lot of fights in the movie that no longer looked alike. The end fight was lengthy and done right.

I first watched the movie back in 2015 and the copy I had then had such poor quality that I watched it on a cell phone. I held off writing a review then because video quality often lowers the enjoyment of the movie through no fault of the film itself. I managed to find a better copy that is almost wide screen and of resolution comparable to an old VHS tape. It was also dubbed into English.

This is your basic "all about the fights" movie done right. Yet, I rate it just average for the year and genre. Though "done right" it seemed to leave me wanting a bit more. There was not a single "wow" move or anything else special in the entire movie.
