PG-13 | | Biography, Drama
Upon realizing the extent to which women are affected by their menses, a man sets out to create a sanitary pad machine and to provide inexpensive sanitary pads to the women of rural India.
Akshay's speech in UN was shot in one take.
Bloody men... half hour... half hour bleeding like women... they straight dying!
When the protagonist arrives at Delhi IIT to demonstrate his machine, it is carried at the roof carrier of a taxi in a seemingly smaller box. But given the size of the entire machine shown earlier (almost occupying a whole room), it cannot fit in a taxi, let alone that small box shown.
After the last shot, the photograph of Mr. Arunachalam Muruganantham, on whose life this film is based, is shown with the title "PadMan".
