  • I liked the atmosphere of the house in the woods and the acting by the two actresses. They were believably sisters and acted their ages.

This film does not use the short format successfully. The Whistler backstory is not developed enough to allow the viewer to understand what has happened. As a result, there are some dreams, some dreams in dreams, and some twists that really don't make sense.

If it was longer, I think it would not have been much different than a lot of "legend comes to life" movies.

I did think Copernicus the Rat did a nice job in his supporting role.
  • Just watched this on 'Shudder' the other night. The production level was so high I thought I was watching a feature film. I was surprised when the movie ended so quickly. I'm guessing there is more to the story of 'The Whistler'.

I hope the director/writer, Jennifer Nicole Stang, gets to tell the whole story!
