If they didn't have any fight scenes it would probably actually be good the psycho girl was not in any way believable in her actions to hit someone with the skillet the iron rod you can see her swing and literally stop before you get to the contact should have hired professional stunt doubles to do that work would have made for a better movie and no one got murdered I expected the attentive next door neighbor to at least be a victim the husband checked his phone far to many times for spam if it es only that you would have told the wife that and showed her could have been better could have been worse.
  • Its just bad .Ashley looks old .acting is very very bad .just skip this school play
  • This thriller is quite well executed. Things remain quite plausible and don't descend into silliness so the movie is more effective. The psycho in question has a good reason to exact her punishment on the woman who had an affair with her Father and cause the destruction of her family. She cleverly worms her way into the family of the mistress and subtly wreaks havoc on their lives. Likeable cast all round.

    Worth a watch.

    Warning: Spoilers
By all indications, there were major problems in the marriage of James and Margot Fawcett. He was a philanderer, and she was a drinker. But after Margot shot her husband and then turned the gun on herself, the bodies were found by their young daughter Elle. She then makes it her life's mission to take revenge on the woman with whom her dad was having an affair, despite the fact that the woman was not even aware that James was married.

Set in the beautiful desert landscape of the American Southwest, "One Small Indiscretion" is the tawdry tale of Elle moving into the guest house of Sam and Caroline (Caro) Winters and their teenage son Logan. Once Elle is installed in the home, she works methodically to undermine the lives of each of the family members, sadistically setting them up for the kill in her revenge scheme.

As portrayed in the film, Elle was a talented young artist. She was also skilled in computer technology and surveillance methods. Her psychological sophistication was also superb, as she terminated her association with her psychiatrist, Dr. Sage, then used her gifts to get inside the minds of Caro, Sam, and Logan. The one sharp eye is that of the neighbor, Hannah, who sees through Elle's dastardly scheme. Yet Hannah is treated as a Cassandra and drops out of the film at the midpoint.

Several of Elle's diabolical acts were to plant turquoise panties in the trousers of Sam to be discovered by Caro while doing the laundry. She sets up poor Logan for the fall by sending a fake erotic video to his prom date to make his big night miserable. And she adroitly sabotages a key power point presentation of Caro at her place of work. Finally, she plots to bring the entire clan together for a shootout that will include taking the life of Sam's former secretary, Beth, with whom he had a brief dalliance.

It was sad to contemplate that a young woman with so much potential and so many talents could have gone so wrong in her estimation of the circumstances of her parents' deaths. Sam and Caro may have committed minor indiscretions. But the criminal mind of Elle leads only to her squandering her life. By the end of the dirty doings in the desert, it appears as though Elle will be permanently attached to her orange jump suit in a high security prison.
  • The climax fight scene was actually good to decent, but there were so many cast iron slams to the head that the main character Caroline should at a minimum be bleeding from the head. Same for her husband. There are no signs of injury which just kind of wrecks some of the realism and plausibility of the action/fight scenes.

The villain in this one had a believable grudge against Caroline, so in that sense, the movie made sure to give Elle proper motivation for her crimes. I've seen it a couple of times, so it's good for at least one watch.
