Excellent Stylish Crime Thriller

Summary:The movie deals with the adventures of a stylish plain clothed cop who comes across a case where his brother is the prime suspect. He is caught in a dilemma Duty or Family.

The movie's backbone is its story which is far different from crime thriller's we usually see. This movie is something which makes you feel like it is a slow paced drama in the first half and takes a big turn into an unexpectedly thrilling adventure in the second half.

Mammotty and Anson Paul who play the lead roles have done their part well in potraying the brothers. The supporting cast especially Siddique And Yog Japee also play commentable roles.

The movie is watchable for its mass scenes by Mammotty and Anson. The fight scenes between the brothers are a delight to watch. The storyline and the twists are one major reason to watch this film. The Bgm is a big asset to this movie especially in the climax scenes which really amazes the audience. On the whole this movie is an unexpected treat to watch.

Abrahaminte santhathikal is a 2018 thriller starring Mammootty and Anson Paul in leading roles. Derrick Abraham is a honest police officer his life changes when his brother gets arrested for a murder case.

A movie which had potential to be a great crime thriller spoiled by a weak script and story telling. Except the first 30mts of the movie there is nothing to enjoy a completely predictable story line.Had the movie followed something from the first 30mts of story telling it would have been a much better movie.Mammooty as usual looking awesome but even he can't save this drowning ship.!!

Story telling is simply a cliche that we have seen from 7th day were the cameo in the movie is the one who does everything behind.

Its doesn't make one thrilling even it categorised in thriller genre. I wonder why they tagged it under thriller. . Story of the movie was relevant but could've approached in a different perspective. Sadly this movie too is taking back the industry back to One man show.

Best Mammootty Movie in Recent Times.

The film lives up-to expectations. When Shaji Padoor's excellent direction met Haneef Adeni's impressive writing, it gave away to a magnificent return of Megastar Mammootty to Malayalam cinema. The neatly paced thriller flick also reward the audience with good story. Certain portions were dramatic and lacked clarity. However, the massive screen presence of Mammootty make the negatives shoo away. AS is not one of the best Malayalam thriller movies but the director's unique approach and stylish presentation deserves a one time watch.

Once again a mammootty police film. But this time with an entirely diffrent form. Film is a suspense thriller. One time watchable with a heavy background score and good camera work. Movie goes with a good speed. Has a firm story line. Mammootty shined with his spectacular looks throughout in this movie.

This is a bad movie. Cliched scenes throughout the film. Exaggerated background music. I just felt leaving my seat through the first 15 minutes of the film. I went to watch the movie seeing some positive reviews, but believe me this is one of the worst films I've ever seen. Very predictable climax. I have never written a review, but this movie made me write one. Please don't watch it !

The first fifteen minutes of the film is a mixture of Grandmaster, Memories, The Great Father. And then begins the predictability. Why do we just have people who cannot act get characters as brothers and sons and cousins of Mammootty? Same thing happened with the utterly disappointing Parole.

The second song was just unnecessary. I really wonder what goes through the mind of Mammootty while choosing scripts. Strictly avoidable for reasons known to everyone.

Mammootty as always stands tall in an otherwise thoroughly ordinary script. Malayalam films come up with great content all the time only to have such turkeys come along every once in a while.

Abrahaminte santathikal is a complete nonsence.The script is a mess and the making, a joke. It was like a movie with two stories.The first 20-30 miutes gave an imperssion like it was a serial killer movie,but the plot was shifted to somewhere else all of a sudden. Its only some action and is a nobrainer

Engaging, Though not the best..

The movie is engaging right from the start. But the story is digressing rapidly taking away the sheen of the plot. However, the climax has somehow make up for all the twists & digressions and provides some relief to the viewers at the end. Felt the movie didn't justify all the hype it received. Overall, a one time watchable movie.

Misguided by the rating watched this movie. Too predictable and better to remove this movie from thriller genre. Even a primary school kid will tell that both Mammootty and his brother plotting together, noway they are going be against each other.

This movie survived only because other more non sensical movies of Mammootty in recent times-except Peranbu.

It's halfway through this year and Mammooty has delivered 4 films already. Of which 3 are better left unspoken. While Streetlights and Uncle comes in with a breath of fresh air and some good moments, it fails to en-capture the real popularity Mammooty films could get. Abrahaminte Santhathikal which marks the debut of Shaji Padoor as a director and Haneef Adeni's next feature, but this time as the head writer.

Perhaps in comparison, the writing department has had more success in the film that the visual. The cinematography is slick and grandiose but the inconsistency between the frames and music is too big that it won't go unnoticed. But the praise goes to both the departments. Alby has found a great deal of attention to his gorgeous frames in Gangster(2013), which also stars Mammooty, although a terrible outing for him. Gopi Sundar has yet again produced a pleasing and not the usual trumpet sounds that is overly done in mainstream films. The BGM is perhaps one of the most appreciable positives of the film, making it even more great.

Abrahaminte Santhathikal could have been another Masterpiece, minus the actual 'storyline' and an engaging on screen performance. But the film holds it together, with the Director cleverly taking advantage of Mammooty's stardom as well as his efficiency to handle tough characters. Anson Paul handles his side good, albeit some amount of lazy moments. The female characters introduced has no major contribution and suffers from put out. Ranji Panicker delivers yet again a strong performance with a clever and safe outing for Kalabhavan Shajon.

Abrahaminte Santhathikal could have gone either way. If the film could have used more of the brother-brother storyline than some moments to amp things up, it would have been considerably better. The film in terms of the story told and the themes brought up, is a gem in Malayalam cinema. But as things go, the execution should have been way better.

Derrick Abraham is here to stay!

Abrahaminte Santhathikal.. brilliant movie from Shaji Padoor and Haneef Adeni. Superb climax and Mammookka's Derrick Abraham shines throughout the movie. Not to forget Anson Paul's role as Philip Abraham and that bgm from Gopi Sundar was just awesome.

This is epic one. Dont miss this movie as Mammootty has been superb. His performance in this movie is far better than his recent movies. The main man is the director Shaji Padoor who has benn associate director in mollywood for over 20 overs and it is his first independent movie. He has given his 100% contribution to his first movie. He used his 20 year experience and you can imagine what treat is this. Making of the movie is another highlight. Script writer Haneef Adeni who is the director introduced by Mammootty In The Great Father. His dialogues are just massive. I am damn sure that in the climax you will stand up and will clap for all the crew members. They just makes it a big treat to all type of Audiences. Go and watch in theatres to get a better experience.

Overrated movie with predictable climax

I went for this movie because of the reviews on the internet , very disappointing movie with unnecessary mass scenes and a very predictable suspense at the end. The only thing good about the movie is mamooty's acting (as usual) . the movie is presented as an investigation thriller but there is'nt much of investigation going on .
