An intelligent show about journalists and the media, done very well, with some stand-out performances.

Press has presented some important and little-addressed issues, such as the important role of fake news in gathering our attention for better and worse, and the real struggles and varying motivations of the people who write the nonsense. This is contrasted with the necessary religious fervor of legitimate journalists that keeps them striving in a world in which a dwindling minority will support the cost of telling the truth.

Described as a miniseries but with a storyline that can support multiple seasons, we hopefully will not see this quality show vanish like so many quality newspapers.
