Before leaving her launch pad New Sensations/Digital Sin for greener pastures (presumably) at Sweet Sinner last year, pornographer Jacky St. James made dozens of crypto-incest DVDs relying on the notion of sex with a step-sister or step-mother is just fine. They became repetitious and ultimately pointless after a few dozen or so (I'm certainly a glutton for punishment) but this brand-new Xmas themed Incest saga she made for Sweet Sinner is delightful.
Jacky's conceit, besides the cheery sets and costumes hammering home Yuletide Cheer with tongue firmly in cheek, is a visit by heroine Kristen Scott and her boyfriend Lucas Frost to his family and then hers on successive vacation days, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, 2015. The choice of that year is arbitrary and never resolved in Jacky's script, probably just in order to set the action into flashback mode.
What follows is cleverly and staged and wonderfully acted sex with comic overtones, built around the realization that everyone is having sex ONLY in the incest-with-a-step mode. We never see the lead lovers Kristen and Luke have sex, as they are not related.
Since this feature will undoubtedly be chopped up into four separate scenes (already demarcated on the DVD menu of the Sweet Sinner DVD released by parent outfit Mile High Media), the first two are dominated by a fabulous acting performance by Mona Wales as Lucas's step-mom. Fast becoming Adult's best unconventional MILF (given her lack of stunning figure or superficial facial beauty), Wales's nearly over-the-top domineering acting style is a great source of farcical moments, making visiting Kirsten wonder what strange family she has gotten mixed up with.
Mona lives at porn's favorite location, the "Immoral Proposal" mansion (see Sweet Sinner's title by that name), only it has been remodeled with new opaque white front doors replacing the familiar oval-paned ones. Its distinctive spiral staircase is used elegantly here to frame the five protagonists of the first half of the film. Two of them get the first sex scene: Mona's husband Tommy Gunn, heading up to the bedroom to hump his utterly beautiful step-daughter Lena Paul, good at acting too (for a change) as her many recent all-sex shows have established her as the prettiest new starlet in the business.
Second sex scene has Mona bedding down with her step-son Lucas, who she nicknamed Sucky for obvious reasons. Wales proves as energetic in her sex performances as she is in those pesky (for pornographers anxious to wrap a show as quickly as possible) acting & dialog scenes.
Movie shifts to Kristen's abode for the second half, taking it further down the road from rom-com to farce. Her highly unlikely mom is another top new talent on the scene Reagan Foxx, a tall, massively-built MILF who is already a Lesbian Icon following a string of successful all-girl DVDs for Girlfriends Films. She plays a stripper who besides being natural mom to Kristen has two adult step-sons played as hillbillies by Logan Pierce and a shaved-head Chad Alva (who I'll always remember with shoulder- length hair from scores of videos he made earlier in this decade).
Formulaic by this point, we get Chad in love with step-mom Reagan and servicing the big gal nicely, while Kristen beds down with her beloved step-brother Logan. I checked off Spoilers in IMDb, because I need to round off my summary in noting that Jacky's happy ending after the final money shot consists of Kristen giving up Frost for her true love, crypto-incest be damned. Or from Jacky's point-of-view, incest can be a filmmaker's nest egg.
