I generally prefer older Dorcel titles (way back when Marc was directing an occasional feature himself) with the current releases, and this 2nd Disk in the 17-1/2 hour, 6 DVDs compilation helps demonstrate why. Forgotten titles with great stars of yesteryear hold up far better after a couple of decades or so than the recent Dorcel videos which are largely ephemeral.
I have seen the complete, original versions of several of the classics excerpted - one scene each - here, notably the amusing farce "Les miches de la boulangere" featuring Elodie Cherie and the fabulous Draghixa in Dorcel's own "Le parfum de Mathilde", but it was exciting to discover long out of print wonders like Carolyn Monroe servicing a young Rocco Siffredi in "Les menteuses" and a real Golden Oldie, "Julie la douce".
By contrast the newer titles, seemingly chosen almost at random for inclusion (perhaps to recall a specific performer in the Dorcel stable), are nowhere near the league of the aforementioned, e.g., Ellen Saint in the forgettable "Road Movix", or Blanche Bradburry going BDSM in the lousy "Les femmes de footballeurs XXX".
