- GoofsThe gravity inside the Jamestown lunar base appears to be normal in that the characters are able to work around and handle objects in the same way they would on Earth, even though the force of gravity on the surface of the Moon lower than it is on the surface of the Earth. However, lunar gravity kicks in when the characters are outside the lunar base.

Built on the Right Stuff
I was always charmed by a movie from the eighties called "The Right Stuff". Have you seen it? You should!
It's a bit too long as a movie, so they made a series out of it on National Geo about a year ago. Which is excellent as well. So go and watch it!
It's based on the real life of some speed daredevils who became the pioneers to test all kinds of devilish airplanes, supersonic rockets and space shuttles. The first astronauts and Kosmonauts were test pilots.
Buzz, Gordo, Scott Glenn, Neil Armstrong, Shepard, Grisham, Dirkske Frimout.
Sometimes I have the feeling that I knew them.
Then came the space disaster movies with miss Bullock where you see the impact of the debree of a space crash and you felt suffocated in the cold, dark universe above our heads. No air, no food, no rescue... There was also Apollo 13 where they were thousands of miles from home and they needed to fix the engine with a pack of gum, the wheel of a bicycle and a plastic spoon.
Houston, we had suspense in every way!
"For all mankind" starts like the right stuff with the training of the flying elite to cosmonauts, but the premesis is different.
The Russians were first on the moon. So now what, Houston?
So history is changing and it's fun to see deepfakes of presidents, kings and queens who are telling you the new normal.
John Lennon even survives in a way or another.
Some episodes focus on the pioneers private lifes (drinking, swearing and smoking), their careers (drinking again and some smoking) and politics (mainly cursing, and a pure scotch from time to time).
The further you get, the more the plot gets twisted and thickens. Of course the best suspense is the action parts where the motors are burning, oxygen holes with steam, beeps, bleeps and red flashes in the cabin but the political parts are also very intriguing and interesting and they create also suspense.
Give yourself a few episodes the time and let it grow on you. Because this is the best sci-fi we got for ages: drama, explosions, difficult quantum terms, but realistic, good scripting, great acting, plot twists that you never saw coming. I even fell in love with a few women there. I once got drunk just by watching them drinking. A lot to see and to love.
All of that built on one simple idea: what if... The Russians were first on the moon' Brilliant.
Just not a 10 because it's apple tv and I work for that smartphone competitor. So jealous they have this ;-)
