While surprising his fiancée with a newly inherited property, a man is forced by a mysterious woman to confront his past behavior.

No idea, but the director sure likes to shill all of his works.
Verdict
Damage Control is a horror short standing around 8 minutes that let's just say is heavily open to interpretation.
It sees a man bring his significant other blindfolded to a piece of land he declares is now for them, he tells her all the wonderful things that they can do with it and she acts like an ungrateful child about it all. Shortly after their arrival when alone he finds that there is someone on their land, but things aren't what they seem to be.
Now again this is heavily open to interpretation, when the credits roll you'll likely have questions and/or have made some kind of assumption as it leaves the whole thing rather ambiguous.
It's not that I don't mind these kind of endings I just think they need handling in a certain way, this right here isn't one of them and left me unfulfilled and not really caring enough to come up with a theory.
Maybe this would have worked better in a feature format, here it feels entirely pointless.

If I bought some land, brought the woman I love out there and the first words coming out her mouth are "What is this dump?" she'd be getting buried there. Only joking, but kind of not, but of course I am, but seriously I'd consider it, expect I wouldn't because I'm not a murderer, however on the flipside......I might be conflicted. Moral of the story, don't be ungrateful.
