Never in my life have I been so in love with an ad, let alone ads in general, but this. This ad is so well made and the behind the scenes video shocked me, because apparently none of the streching/moving parts are done in CGI. Heck, the set fricking moves!

Absolutely incredible and I feel like the message of the ad was quite clear.

I'm not even overreacting, this is seriously in my top 3.

Wow, this was a surprise. This is the one commercial I remember from Apple, and especially how filmic it looked. Now I know why, It was him. The collaboration with CGI and shot digitally. This was not something that I was expecting from Hoyte Van Hoytema after his recent adventures, but this commerical was shot perfectly.

The way everything looks is so cool and I just cant stop praising, I saw this commercial 6 years ago now, still havent rewatched it, and still I remember the images. How creative Apple was back then. Nowadays they seem to focus too much on being "correct". Ifykyk. I wish they would go back to these times. When ads were fun.

"Welcome Home" is a 4-minute live action short film released just about a month ago that managed millions and millions of clicks on Youtube and the reason is that this is basiclaly a long commercial for the global brand Apple and we see what happens when a young woman comes home and asks Siri to play a song she likes. The rest of the film we hear the song and see the protagonist (played by the forgettable FKA Twigs, what's with that alias?) dance to it while the walls and everything else develop their very own style in terms of color especially. I think it could have been even worse without Oscar winner Spike Jonze in charge and while I really adore his work on "Her", I think this one here like some of his other recent short film works left me very unimpressed. Another case of style over substance and I was not remotely satisfied by either the video or the audio here. In my opinion, it is not a video you'd want your product to be promoted with. Then again, it's Apple. Don't watch. Big thumbs-down from me.
