A series of mysterious events change the life of a blind pianist who now must report a crime that was actually never witnessed by him.
Ayushmann Khurrana plays a Kawai piano in the film a Japanese based company who are credited at the opening of the film.
After Akash saves himself from getting murdered by Manohar Jawanda he escapes from his house located in Prabhat Road and the next immediate shot is shown of him reaching to the main road. The main road is, in fact, Budhwar Peth which is not near to Prabhat Road.
The opening credits read "IN FOND MEMORY OF CHHAYA GEET (1972-82) & CHITRAHAAR (1982-97)", which are classic Indian music programs on radio and television respectively.
The UK theatrical release was censored; in order to obtain a 12A classification the distributor opted to make 50 seconds of cuts: removing stronger moments of violence, bloody injury detail and the use of strong language. An uncut 15 classification was available.
