  • Idk if someone interfare in that movie in Post Production but something was missing in this movie. All though movie was damn good. Music was best. I GOT EMOTIONAL WHILE WATCHING THIS MOVIE. MISSING U SSR
  • The book is undeniably has told a very good story, i've watch the movie that was made by hollywood before and to be honest this movie has done a very good job in putting a hint of india's culture through some of the plot, except for the night prom i guest, idk, but the choosing of the vehicle, and how her mom is coming with them to paris is much likely is what indian or brown parents do. This movie is great, but it does not deserve on top of the list.
  • First of all i don't want to be critic but people rating it 10 are emotionally inclined and now they are comparing ratings of legendary movies with this. So this is not fair(seri). I just want to ask how can a movie adaptation good than the original one which is already famous. So i am not saying this movie is bad or anything it's good, nice and warming but rating is par above.
  • One of the finest acting I've ever seen.I suggest you to please watch this. I think this is far better than movies originated from nepotism. Shushant Sir has done great work and lived the moment in this film. Everything was perfect.
  • This is the only Indian movie which made me cry..... You need to be emotionally strong specially after the dismissal of the Sushant Singh Rajput.. he is great and he was capable to be no 1 in india.. Because of nepotism we lost a well deserved star. I was deeply upset by the ending but overall it was a great movie
  • Dear Manny/Augustas/Sushant Singh Rajput you did leave a mark, you left all your viewers speechless. Be it in the reel world or the real world. You were the most amazing character and I enjoyed you act, and sobbed at the same time, watching you smile and crack jokes made me so emotional. How could a person this cheerful with the brightest not with us anymore. This movie was very warm just the right mix of humor and drama and emotions. Its so fresh that one can re-watch it a 100 times and still wont get bored. I recommend it to all the people out their, because it is not just about cancer or just the regular teenage love story, it far more than that. Give it a watch and I'm sure you'll agree with me.
  • There is no better way to give tribute to a genuinely amazing actor. The film was pretty emotional and touching. Such natural acting from #Sushanth and #SanjanaSanghi and a brilliant execution from other the cast and crew. The movie indeed had plot holes and rushed up situations but I don't think anyone will notice those stuffs as the movie maintained a emotionally touching storyline and knowing the fact that Sushanth left us made it way more emotional and can't finish the movie without releasing a single drop of tear.
  • Dil Bechara - B (Good)

It's not an easy experience to watch Dil Bechara. I had tears in my eyes, watching him onscreen. My opinion is about the movie, not Sushant.

The movie itself is flawed as it failed to adopt well from its source material. I have read The Fault in Our Stars, maybe hundred times. I watched Hollywood version twice, and felt it was better on second viewing due to less expectations.

In Indian version they changed story that instead of Girl wanted to know the book's ending from writer, but Album song is half written doesn't make any sense at all. Noone listen to full albums, people mostly listen to hit songs not whole album. With books, it makes sense because people read full book if its good but if writer doesn't write ending and leave to readers imagination it can become irritating same for girl in the book who wants to know the ending of the book. She flies to Europe and meets writer who is arrogant etc etc. By changing this important factor, the movie lost its impact and story felt confusing with rushed ending.

I will not review Sushant's performance out of respect of the dead. I have seen him before long time ago only in Kai Po Che, Shudh Desi Romance and PK, and he was brilliant in these movies. I truly hope he is at Peace, shame on people using his death to capitalise and promote themselves to stay in news. Announcing biopics on his life and settling scores against their enemies while his family cannot even mourn their loss. Every person who never bothered to even work with him, and now calling him ThinSkinned in interviews and attacking people and girls who worked with him and known him better than anyone sitting at home now Should be ashamed of themselves. I truly hope he is at Peace, this world's cruelty was too much for him.

Newcomer Sanjana held her own infront of big star like Sushant is admirable. I hope people respect him, and his movies are cherished and admired for generations to come.

    Rest in Peace Legend!
  • SSR has done some amazing work in some amazing movies. This is not one of them. Yeah he's charming and fun to watch like always but it's not his best movie. You gave this movie 10/10 based of guilt - guilt of never watching his movies that were actually worthy of your 10/10. He did better movies than this. Don't go by the general rating on this. Watch sonchiriya, kai po che and chhichhore.
  • Again a brilliant performance by Sushant Singh Rajput. We will miss him, will miss his art. Brilliant performance by all the cast, it felt real. Great movie!
  • Fault in our stars is one of my all time favorites so I've decided I'm not gonna watch this movie but, my cousin forced me to watch this movie. Comparison was inevitable..., the cast and the performance by them is well and good but it didn't impress like the original one did. I felt like something was missing in this movie. Sanjana, who is the center of this movie, gave her best.
  • Unpopular : this movie doesn't deserve so much high rating just because it's actors last movie. It's not good and it's not fair to other movies of all world languages. If you want to appreciate him, go and give that rating to Sonchiriya which was so good and still no appreciate by the masses.why always a tragedy has to be the answer to appreciate someone.
  • I'm not writing this from an emotional side of mine.. but I've rated 10/10 for this film only because of Sushant's acting..the way he conveyed each n every emotion, be it with his eyes/body language..speechless..simply marvellous!!Such a huge loss for the industry!! Rest of d casts were average I'd say!!
  • A must watch movie... This movie will tell you what lies between birth and death is life that we generally forget to live... Live your life to the fullest..you never know what will gonna happen next 💔 Amazing performance by Sushant, Sanjana, Swastika etc 👍👍
  • After watching the movie. I could only say it touched the heart and emotions in the movie make us learn many things in life. I would only say there are some movies which are actually meant to be kept forever in our collection.. this movie is one of those.. Best of 2020.

Just watch and enjoy the journey with SSR ONE LAST TIME WITH THE WONDERFUL ACTOR SSR
  • I am a huge movie buff, and have seen countless movies in my life. I can honestly say, without a shadow of a doubt, this is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. 30 minutes into the movie, I had to stop it, and move on to something else. The story is so badly written, none of the actors can actually act, the music is awful, and the list goes on. Simply, nothing about this movies is actually good. The ridiculously high reviews are purely based on what happened to the main actor (RIP), but people shouldn't judge a movie based on that. Honestly, if I could give it 0 stars, I would. It's that bad!
  • This is the best adaptation of The Fault in Our Stars, the book. Both the Hollywood adaptation and this one made changes and are not word for word. But the story, intent and screenplay in this one tops any other adaptation that I have seen, including the plays.

Good movie and the music is good to and good acting
  • Okay, We all cared for SSR. But, Movies should be judged on technicalities and not on sympathies.

Only Good thing about this movie was SSR's Acting and A.R Rahman's music.

Direction, Screenplay, Writing was Below Average

Editing was Poor, I felt that many scenes might've been edited out, don't know but the movie felt incomplete.
  • Under ordinary circumstances , I would never have watched this film, given that it is an official remake of a film that I would not have watched even in extra-ordinary circumstances. But the unfortunate and untimely demise of Mr. Rajput played some part in impelling me to watch the movie.

I solemnly affirm that I tried my best to watch the movie in its entirety ,but failed multiple times, because, the movie, is admittedly quite poorly made. There is no grip in the plot, the dialogues are cheesy or stale, the music and background score is unimaginative and imitative.

The movie of rife with jejune sequences, that neither fit in the story nor the cultural setting, where the director decides to insert them. On the whole, one can attribute the lacklustre effort to the director as also the basic story line.

I tried my best to not let sentimentality get the better of judgment ,and consequently, I concluded that barring the basic theme of the story, Dil Bechara is a nondescript affair that can be easily avoided.
