Here i was, thinking Norm Macdonald was past his prime, and had been reduced to the occasional replacement talk show appearance.
How wrong I was.
He is as sharp as he ever was, and regularly cracks his guests (and we the audience) up.
As irreverent, left field and funny as ever, and yet with the ability to also talk about serious topics.
Like, when Drew Barrymore is on, he comes right out and asks her if she miss cocaine...... but when they talk about weird foods, he says "when I went to Thailand, I ate a monkeys brain" - she is shocked, and asks "How did it taste?" - Norm: "Well, mine was stupid".
If you loved Norm Macdonald in his prime, this is a must see show.
If you are too young to remember his prime, give it a try, he is a truly unique comic, still at the top of his game.
