  • Eschewing the story films with full-fledged characterizations that marked much of his career, Hall of Fame director relies on voice-over narration to propel this winning formula of young women flowering sexually.

For the nearly 3-hour DVD the classic scene is titled "Bonding", as babysitter Elena Koshka tells us of her sexual-initiation by Brandi Love and husband Charles Dera. They are a pair of New Age counter-culture types, with Brandi introduced in yoga Lotus Position. When Elena tells her about her fear of going all the way with her boyfriend, Brandi volunteers to teach her the ways of sex, first lesbian style and then in a threesome with hubby Dera.

This vignette lasts nearly an hour and is upbeat and romantic throughout, in contrast to the many Dera as meanie scenes the veteran star is famous for lately.

Maya Bijou is a winning petite in "Mathematics of Love", in which studying with nerd Tyler Nixon leads to her making him over (largely removing his glasses) for a romantic XXX tryst. Nixon, pushing 30 years old, remains convincing in adolescent roles.

Less appropriate casting has Mick Blue as friend of Anya Olsen's brother, all too happy to service the young girl in "Letting Go". Mick is a couple decades too old for this role, and brother Keith is unidentified, a brief stint as an extra.

Semi-obligatory lesbian scene shows Avalon's ability to put inspiration into the simplest, even trite material. Uma Jolie and Lily Adams are bridesmaids in matching red dresses, with lovely flowers ringing their hair, having innocent seeming (but hardcore of course) Sapphic sex before the ceremony
