  • Just to ensure that Po does not over shadow those little pandas he is shown too weak and this thing hurts,I mean seriously !
  • Yeah this was completely unnecessary since they managed to downplay all of the growth Po accomplished over the course of the movie trilogy, kung fu-ily(?) speaking. In summary, story was boring and fights were lame, so yeah, meh.
  • Completed Season 1 of KUNGFU PANDA: THE PAWS OF DESTINY animated series. It's a good timepass series with a separate plot than movies but with the central character Dragon Master Po, dubbing artiste is same, quality of animation series is same as movies, so it's a good timepass and an elongated enjoyment if you like Kungfu Panda. The story is like this: 4 panda children got the power of the 4 gods - the four constellations and they have to beat the evil Jindiao. The series is 13 episodes long, each episode around 25 min. Its an interesting series, though after few episode, seems a bit elongated, it could be shortened. I rate 3.5/5
  • Literally blew me away! Don't get me wrong.. it has areas of improvement.. but trust me when I say this.. It broke all the records quality wise as an animated TV show this year. In fact some episodes are so good they seem like the movies! The story is really deep and well crafted.. you feel connected with the characters.. And honestly I did not expect the vfx and animation to be this good! They took it to the faaar next level since the last one. Just loved it! An easy 9/10.

Was unsure how this series would hold up to the previous Panda stories, but I was BLOWN AWAY! They took this series farther than I could've imagined. I watched this with my son and we couldn't stop. The visuals are like watching a movie, the writing and actors were AMAZING! Great for kids and just edgy enough for adults to be able to watch also. Hope there are more episodes coming and Amazon just hit a gold mine with this series.
  • Poor everything except the animation, in order to show the competence of the little pandas(especially the leader) they made po weak, dumb, less witty. Kids are smart but inexperienced that's why po is there, he is the idea guy, but instead the little leader knows everything, hell ! All of the little guys learned kung fu in no time, there is no heroes journey, there are no lesson learned the hard way, they know and have figured out everything. This easy to come success stories are killing the entertainment industry. Legend of awesomeness was a better show despite of having low graphic animation.

I am a big fan of the series and was excited when I found out Prime had this on their list. It is the next generation of Kung fu students, except they have amazing abilities unlike Po who only had Kung fu when he started as Dragon Warrior. It was a nice pick up from the last movie. I hope Shifu and the Five would be in some episodes, but now it is the furious 4 or maybe furry 4 since there are only 4 pandas.

Woww.... just woww!!! i still cant belive this is a tv series, the animation is too good for a tv series and the story is mind blowing.. i like all the characters and my fav is bao 10/10 from my side...go for it
  • Best one in animated tv shows! I have always loved kung fu panda. The comedy and the story of it just fascinates me! I am a 15 year old teen still I love this kung fu panda!
  • Binge watched all 13 episodes yesterday and felt like I was watching a MOVIE!! Everything is great about this show. The panda kids are amazing, the adult characters are first class and the writing is outstanding. Bao is my favorite character. Can't wait for season 2.
  • The season 1 (2018) was okay to watch. However the script isn't strong enough to make an impact like the movie series. But when the season 2 (2019) came out, I am actually excited to see some cool Kung fu panda as in movies, But in reality they made it worst. The Script just sucks, The screenplay is terrible and so is the direction.

The characterization of the Dragon Master (poo or pou However you want to call it) is just terrible. They made him look like a silly idiot in the series. Even when the season 2 comes to end , he is like a silly side character in the show. The scope for the four student pandas is fine. Hugely disappointed by the Pou's(Dragon master) characterization.

And finally the most annoying of all 1) The Cart , I am so annoyed while watching the scenes where the goose always cries about the cart. It totally feels like crap. 2) The rooster, I don't know why the hell he is in almost all the episodes, the dumbest character in the whole show and I just hate this character in season 2.

Clearly, is nearly like a film. Visual and Quality is really amazing, I think is 70% like Kung Fu Panda 3 Quality and 90% for Kung Fu Panda 2. DreamWorks and Amazon is really serious for this project.

And also for story, I just want to say, is Spin-off story of Kung Fu Panda, who is main cast is not Po. You can't expected, for now to see Shifu and Furious Five, but maybe and future season we can see it. But for Now, the Main cast is not Po, is a next Journey for Po to be a teacher.

Superb animation...Its fun to watch all the characters in the show....This show is going to set a challenging height for the other animated shows...mind blowing...
  • Totally awesome even if you have clue about what Kung Fu panda is. Fresh storyline along with awesome voice acting and effective background score make it addictive to watch till end. Waiting for season 2.
  • I love the Kung fu panda franchise. The first film was great, the second was awesome, the third was good but not as good as 1 and 2 were, and LOA was surprisingly good but far from perfect. The series has always had a special place in my heart for many years because of it's great action, characters, storylines and animation/Comedy. This is better then LOA in every way possible and I think this does a better job in handling the charaters more. It's really fun and the kids are well written/Acted. I highly recommend this to Kung fu panda fans and anyone looking for a good show.
  • Really enjoyed this. But where are the furious five? Really hope that they're in season two. Also, has anyone noticed that the main character is the little panda that clung to Tigress in the third film? Can't wait for season two!
  • So very, very disappointed. This series is NOTHING like Legends of Awesomeness that ran for 3 seasons. Instead, this is a pre-teen, kid friendly series that will disappoint anyone 14 and up. This apparently takes place well after LOA since the Jade Palace has fallen into disrepair and there's no reference to the Furious Five or Shifu. However, "Po" is now referred to as the Dragon Master since the term Dragon Warrior is apparently too aggressive. He's still dressed in the same patchwork shorts and voiced by the same actor. But the students aren't the diverse kids from the village as before, now they're all homogenous pandas. And so I hit the reject button, sorry, couldn't last past two eps. Look, the production values and music are very similar to LOA but the characterizations and plot are clearly for the 8 yo set, so, so disappointed. And I'm the first non-shilling parent apparently to rate it less than 9, it gets a disappointing 4 since it's marketed as mainstream but clearly it's for the cute little strip-mall dojo white belts that arrive by mom's Dodge Caravan.
  • As a fan who grew up watching the Kung Fu Panda movies, I was so impressed with the show "The Legend of Awesomeness" as it had twice the action and comedy the franchise is known for. As for "The Paws of Destiny", same thing. Great action and clever comedy. I thought it was about time Po got his own students to train and Nu Hai is my favorite student. Reliable, a great leader and cute. It's a great show if you're looking for something entertaining to watch. Hopefully, season 3 will be on it's way soon. I had a lot of fun with this show.
  • Man I like this new show is different I really like if they would do season 2
  • Im really speechless 😍😍😍😍series was sooo awesome. Ksmsldallamdndkkkemmamabxnkdkdkdmmddmxnndmd.
  • Why's there a top review that's written like a 10 year old getting access to the internet for the first time? They did not downplay Po's growth. He actually goes out of his way to leave it up to his students. Why? Because he's a master teaching students. How is that not development? He's competent, but he's only a single set of paws. It's in the darned title. In fact, the title doesn't only refer to this set of five characters.

It was kind of jarring to go straight from Legends of Awesomeness to this, but after the initial few episodes, the ball started rolling. Of course it'll start rough, you can already get the idea of that from powers that need time to appear. So, there's four episodes dedicated to the kids out of 13. 5 out of 13 when you consider the initial power-gain.

People would really rate something as helpful where "story was boring"? Maybe people should actually watch it instead. Can't get more helpful than that.

The story was simple in the first half, got through it's initial character development, such as gaining powers, and a proper lead-up to the villain. The second half was a split between two groups doing different things.

The kids start off as extremely unbearable, to tolerable enough. I had thought it'd just be them, but I was wrong. Eventually, it would star Po's dads, Grandma, and even a thousand year old demon friend. Part 2 actually adds three more characters to the group.

There are plenty of fun undertones that you would have to use a braincell to catch, from Po's death threat, a waterdeer being off'd off screen, technical suicide, and more. Part 2 involves an assassination and a massacre. Without any specifics, these aren't even spoilers, they're just non-contextual events covered by cute creatures doing violent things.

It's a family friendly adventure following a master and his students. It's far better than most things of today.
  • The story is awesome and the sense of humor of this series is the main attraction.
  • This is the worst series I have ever watched . Means there is no option below 1 , so given this . I am sorry guys the animation was good and I could see the hardwork of the creators and I am appreciating them . I don't recommend this to anyone . Guys don't be afraid it's not related to the real movie saga no where . First of all the series was so lengthy that it could be made much shorter . Then I am not satisfied with giving chi to these dumb children . The thing was so boring after some episodes . I am waiting for po with the furious five . This will take place in panda village. After some episodes the children will be like over confident about themselves and you guys don't like it after sometime . I am not at all satisfied with giving chi to the children it can be given to the furious five they also use it efficiently . Sorry guys for the spoiler but you need to know about this that's why . I don't recommend you guys to watch . I expected more from Kung Fu Panda creators and production about the story .
  • This series is timeless and beautifully transformative. It embraces all forms of love and life and is still brilliantly and refreshingly hilarious. I try but cannot stop myself from binging straight through. Can't wait for S3!!

I find paws of destiny very fun and is one of my favourite TV shows. Though The Furious Five and Shifu not being in it is a real bummer. The animation is quite good for a TV show unlike Kung Fu Panda Legends of Awesomeness where the animation sucks. Some parts are quite confusing but overall I would definitely recommend this show. Unlike legends of awesomeness which is really cringy. This is the brother of the person who rated Kung Fu Panda Legends of Awesomeness so I have a different opinion on that particular TV show than him.
