James Avalon concocted four okay vignettes for this Erotica X DVD, with his usual stylistic and technical prowess overcoming the minimal approach to such niceties (of which he once upon a time was a master) as story and characterization.
Most ambitious is a period piece titled "Make Me Do Bad Things", which starts of with tons of dialog, including authentic slang, to generate along with the costumes and hair styles a 1950s atmosphere. Cute Lily Jordan is the girl that greaser Lucas Frost convinces to accompany him to Lovers Lane in his vintage juggernaut, and the resulting sex is satisfying.
Entire femme cast is made up of sweet young things, plus the late August Ames as a girl susceptible to lesbian advances from fellow student Gia Paige. When watching Ames (who committed suicide the same year this was made) so vivacious and full of life, playing a psychology student of all things, it gives one pause - a bit like watching the similarly tragic original Savannah from the '90s.
Other segments featuring Lily Adams and Arielle Faye are rather fperfunctory, with what looks like the famous "Immoral Proposal" mansion as the setting for the finale pairing Faye with Ryan McLane.
