What a beautiful way to end a series, We have wittnessed(pun intended) a cult-classic meet it's end, and what better way to do that then by bringing back all the characters we've come to love. A great episode with a perfect ending(not a term I use loosely). I cannot remember the last time I was so satisfied with a shows ending. Jennifer was definitely the highlight of this show, but I have to admit that it's Katarina that took the episode by storm, as her quick thinking gave Cole and us the happy ending we/him deserved. The writers can look back at this and say I wrote that, and be proud of what they've achieved. Maybe it will never be as known as Game of Thrones But to have done what they did with the budget they had is a bigger acomplishment(in my humble opinion). I will miss this show so much and I know it's not an Emmy, but I want to thank the people behind this series as they've created a show that is(in my eyes) a masterpiece.

This was just perfect. I have seen many series finales and they all either leave you, mad and unsatisfied, or happy but wanting more, or sad and disappointed. The final episode of 12 Monkeys leaves the viewer fulfilled. This one closed nearly every possible plot hole, kept you on the edge of your seat guessing, and gave you what you wanted at the same time. A true masterpiece.

artu_arpon8 July 2018I've never really written a review before because i didn't feel the need to. But this time, this show, has given me a reason to do so. I enjoy a lot watching tv shows, wether it's for just having a bit of fun, or because I want to enjoy a great story, well written and with an excellent cast. And that is what this show has given us as viewers. In my humble opinion, this is one of the best tv shows I have ever seen. I love sci-fi at an extraordinary level, but that is not the only reason why I loved this show. The writers, and every single person of the 12 Monkeys' team did an incredible job by giving us, as viewers, an excellent series in every aspect that a great show must take in mind: from a great cast, to a great story, to an incredibly enjoyable and believable scientific basis, to a perfect finale, that really got me satisfied. Most tv shows end up having a wether disappointing finale, making you feel like the writers could have done way more, or maybe end up having a good finale which does not satisfy the viewers because that's not what a show would deserve. And that is not what happened to the 12 Monkeys finale. The team of this show did exactly what an amazing show like this deserves to end. These final episodes are proof that the writers gave even more than the best they can to give the audience the BEST finale I have probably ever witnessed in my 18 years of life. It was entertaining. All the loose ends the show had during its 4 season were paid off, and adding the fact that this is a time travel show, that has a double merit. I don't know if a member of the cast, writers, producers, editors, or anybody of the team of the show will ever read this more of a thanking letter than review. I hope someone does, because you all must know that you really got a place on my heart with the show. Why? Because it has given me, and probably most viewers not just fun, but also emotional moments, reflective situations about love, life and time. About the significance of making the best of every moment of life, as there is only one single aspect in the entire universe that we can't get back. That is, time.
Thank you all, to the fantastic team behind this show, for giving us this masterpiece. You really knew how to not only develop it on a fantastic way, but to finish it the best way possible. Wish you all the best. And thank you, again. -
I've loved 12 monkeys from the start. Season 1-2 had me hooked, I'll admit I drifted a little in season 3 and it got a little confusing but season 4 has completely blown me away. The finale episode was incredible and I don't think I've ever been so satisfied with a series ending. Well done syfy.

Obviously, when you do a show about time travel it can be confusing and there are loopholes in logic.But this show did have a lot of heart and emotion and the characters were interesting and the acting was good.The last episode was one of the most satisfying for a series.

ctfrenchy9 July 2018I am very proud to say that I stuck with this show through every episode. There were a lot of smart moments. Jennifer and the museum theft is one of the funniest moments ever. This series finale was one of the best I've ever seen. This is absolutely what you want in a finale. I felt completely fulfilled. It was smart, action packed, and super heartwarming with excellent callbacks to earlier episodes. All the plot loops were closed...so good. Great show. I'll miss it dearly.

I am gonna miss this show and its characters. Im also very happy for cole and cassie that they had a happy ending in the end. Or did they?....
I really like time travel stories and this one didnt dissapoint. The characters are interesting and there are alot of great plottwists. Also I only really like a show/movie if i can connect to the characters and i really care about them. In this show I really did, and the writers did a good job at making different and interesting characters.

From the very beginning, I fall for this TV show, and by the time I became obsessed with every thing about it, specifically James Cole lol I always knew it will end very well, but it actually ended way better than any expectations, I even like the fact that when they put the ending they respected our minds and intelligence, unlike many other series in which the ending may doesn't make sense and just to make people happy.
I am happy, really happy, for this awesome ending, for the wonderful time and the pleasure I've got for watching it, and for getting to know the show at first place.

...and this is not a given! This show had a lot of twists and causalities through out four seasons. I was impressed how each puzzle felt into its place.

JonathanJFilms30 August 2018Wow, what a conclusion to the show. The finale to this series is most likely one of the best series finales that I have ever seen. Even if the TV show in general is not very thought through, the time travel aspect of it might be, everything else is just thoughtless. The finale leaves with a great deal of ambiguity that will make the viewers want to believe the happy ending of the more realistic and sad ending. The choice is yours, how the viewer interprets it is entirely up to them. Even though it ends on an ambiguous note it simultaneously feels like a very satisfying end to the TV show.

aarongnr14 August 2020I'm not sure if the bittersweet version of this ending would've been better than what we got, but what we gor was absolutely perfect. This is probably the 3rd best series finale I've ever seen, just behind Avatar and Mr. Robot.
