  • Likely the final feature film made by Private Media's greatest director, Antonio Adamo", "Pizza Connection" is a quirky throwback to when porn films were movies and not merely all-sex collections of vignettes. The maestro returns to his home turf of Naples with fun results.

But the story does some globe-hopping first, as our secret agent/hit man hero working for Mossad travels to Jaffa and Jerusalem on assignment, before quitting his old life in order to fulfill his dream of becoming a pizza maker. His boss at Mossad is unhappy with his decision, and a seriocomic saga of his adventures, mainly sexual of course, follows.

Wonderful locations make this play like a real movie rather than porn, and Adamo has rounded up attractive leading ladies who dutifully look at the camera after every cum shot, his trademark. The sex scenes are well executed and the comic relief here is priceless. My favorite bit has a Mossad informant asked to confirm the hero's present whereabouts, so he phones a toll-free Terrorists Hotline to get the info - a very clever routine that comedy writers who dig porn should watch for inspiration.
