  • This game is a must buy for car guys or even non car guys to play, I've pre order the ultimate edition and I can't stop playing just like all of the Horizon Series Games. So if you have the money don't forget to pick this up!
  • I've played a few racing games in my time but I was never a huge fan. After the disaster of Need for Speed Payback, buying a racing game wasn't first on my list. Forza Horizon 4 caught my eye. My time racing across the vast open world of Great Britain was extremely fun, and the changing of different seasons makes the game feel fresh with stunning visuals immersing you in the experience. The game does a really good job making you feel like you're progressing properly. Sure some might call it hand holding, but for a casual racer like myself, being able to unlock a lot of the awesome selection of cars was a blast to do. If you own an Xbox One I would highly recommend picking this game up. Forza Horizon 4 has definitely shaped up to be one of my favorite racing games, if not my favorite. 9.7/10
  • I think there is not so much good racing games. For me just 4 racing games is really good. This one is the best of them, absolutely. Second one is Dirt 3 with it amazing graphics and really realistic gameplay style. The third one is NFS: Underground 2 it is very arcade gameplay style but it has good multiplayer mods and has a good career gameplay. Also GTA 5 is really amazing with it driving physics, arcade and realistic styles mixed in this game. Other GTA games are awesome too.

Also after I played this game I've sad they finally did a good racing game. I didn't mean other Forza Horizon games was bad. But this one is really amazing. But at the first released times tech issues was really boring.
  • An amazing game full of customisation and choice. Hours and hours of fun with a great soundtrack. However, the rewards system is terrible. Leveling up isn't fun when you get a free spin and win some sandals. I don't really care what my driver dresses like, I want money and cars. The expansion packs are quite fun too. It's a must have game with its occasional flaws.
  • I have loved the Forza Horizon series since playing the first game back in 2012 and once again they have taken everything from the game that came before and made it multiple times better.

Even if your not into racing, there is still a lot for you to do in this game. There are hundreds of collectables, cars and roads to collect and drive, plenty of different event types to try out and with the season system, every week brings something new to the game.

This being said, I do still feel like the horizon games are missing something and I feel like it's that sense of progression. Nothing seems to make you want to do the content other then it may be fun to do. Sure you get exclusive rewards from certain events but other then that, it's just XP and credits and being able to say you have done it. The original game was much better with this as you had to earn points from events to unlock new events with faster cars and while this game has something like that with the xp system, you can still very easily complete every race event with the 2 cars you get from the start of the game which for me defeats the point of an open world racing game.

Other then my minor issue related to nostalgia, this is a solid entry to the series and a great game to get into the series with. I can't wait to see what Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios do next.

    Great
Forza Horizon 1-3 was 10/10. As much as I enjoy this one, the cringey dances and outfits ruin this game slightly.
  • This game is not by any means a simulation game, but that doesn't mean it isn't one of my favorite racing games ever. This game has an overwhelming amount of cars. The cars are very dynamic and have amazing attention to detail. The sound design is also pretty great, although I the sound effects for the cars are not very dynamic and most cars sound the same. However I'd say that's excusable because of the fact that there's 300+ vehicles in the game and would be too difficult, and expensive in both money and data to have individual sounds for every single vehicle in the game. The physics handle like an arcade style racing game, which is perfect because that's exactly what it is. FH4 is supposed to be a hyper realistic racer. My friends and I constantly play this game, and half the time we aren't racing. We're screwing around modifying and buying cars. This game truly is incredible. If you're looking for simulation, I recommend Dirt Rally 2.0. If you're looking for arcade fun, I recommend this game.

Fun to collect cars And paint them etc but it takes a while to get a hold of the driving. Also it's full of absolute toss pots, there all young British teens, the nobby star bucks looking type, you know the ones with the floppy beanie hats and ripped jeans and perms. I mean IM a young British person and I think they look douchey. This game makes British people look bad but still some fun
