After a long time a movie which shows some respect to teachers in TFI...a complete family entertainer..vijay steals the show as a good boy next door..itz routine story revolves around vijay and rashmika..da chemistry works very well..hoping for a sequel with the lead pair. In spite of many flaws director handled the subject intelligently to woo family audience. Good work Parasuram. A complete family entertainer without controversial scenes.Go and enjoy !!

Vijay Devarakonda this name now holds the star status that is equal to the top stars in the Telugu film industry. Vijay has risen to the top with consecutive hits 'Pelli Chupulu' & 'Arjun Reddy'. Pelli chupulu just gave him a nice hit and made him recognised. But what ARJUN REDDY had done to him is evident today. Vijay's acting in ARJUN REDDY got him a lot of accolades from all over the world. He got fans all over the world. Now vijay devarakonda aka the arjun reddy is back with his new movie Geeta Govindam. The film revolves around geeta(Rashmika Mandanna) and vijay govindam(vijay devarakonda). Vijay has some ideas for how the person he loves should be. He is a professor at IIT and lives in hyderabad.He falls for geeta at first sight when he sees her in a temple but misses her. Later his gets a good match and he leaves for home. He meets her on the bus where the two get side by side seats as it should happen for the story to go on. They two strike a good relation and geeta gets a good image of vijay. But something happens in the bus and everything gets reversed. Geeta hates him now and is ready to get him killed for what he has done. But what stops geeta is that the vijay's sister is going to be married by her brother. Vijay is now in problem, his brother -in-law is trying to find the guy who had done the mistake in the bus. He doesn't know it is vijay. The rest of the story is how vijay gets out of the mess and manages to marry geeta. The plot which is a female dominated one becomes the balamced one just because of our ROWDY aka THE ARJUN REDDY aka Vijay Devarakonda. He has acted so well in the film that he manages to bring the life into the character which would have been killed by rashmika if it was not for vijay. It is a very contrast role the one he played in Arjun Reddy. But vijay manages to this role too quite brilliantly. And the other who should be talked about is Rashmika Mandanna who plays geeta she has acted so brilliantly she deserves the applause. The two strike up a great pair on-screen. They have both played their roles quite well. There also some other good roles in the film. Subbaraju plays the role of heroine's brother. He too has done justice to the role. Nagababu as vijay's father also has a good role. There are some comedy scenes too in the film which give us some more fun. The director has done a freat job. He has written a good script but where he succeeded was when he choose vijay as th hero. If it was not vijay who was the lead. This film would have been a female dominated one. He had done the film well. Music by gopi sundar very nice. Each amd every song in the film is good as we have seen they are still on top chartbusters on several music sites and channels. Inkem Inkem kavali is the best song and I personally loved this song very much. Cinematography is also nice. Everything about the movie is very well planned and executed which is evident with the huge success of the film. Each and every actor has done justice to their roles. Viajy - Rashmika combo rocks. Hope to see more of this kind from them. Currently the movie has completed 50 days of its release in 59 centres which is very much these days. The film is marching towards its next milestone. Let us hope it goes to 100 days. The film is full of vijay and rashmika. It is fun ride of love hate love sorrow and happiness. it's the right mix of all emotions. The movie is a treat for vijay's fans,who get to see him in a complete new avatar contrast to his role in ARJUN REDDY. Watch the film for vijay and rashmika. I am sure no one will be disappointed. It is a good movie. Watch it for sure.

The brilliance of the story can not be descibed in words. Vijay, Rashmika and all the other actors did a nice work. The movie also contains beautiful and heart melting songs . mchinni-4299927 August 2018This movie contains that pure telugu flavour which has been absent from its contemporaries.This is reflected in the way the characters speak, the way we people are in buses, which is primarily how we travel to our hometwons, listening to chaganti pravachanam in the morning, all of these are common to us, and this creates a sense of belonging and nostalgia. I was so immediately and deeply drawn to it, that I felt the intermission came too fast. The music is still haunting in my mind, and helped elevate the mood of the movie to a new level. The comedy was the highlight, since telugu cinema is incomplete without it. The comic timing and delivery of vijay, vennela kishore, rahul was fantastic. Special mention to vennela kishore who is an absolute delight, and caused heavy doses of laughter, coupled with rahul ramakrishna who was on point. What I noticed about Vijay after watching him in a movie for the third time, which makes him distinct from his contemporaries is that, he doesn't sugarcoat his character's feelings. Whatever he is feeling, be it frustration, scared that he has to hide something big from his dad his whole life, regret, reverence for the wife of his dreams, whatever it might be, it is tangible. I felt everything that he is feeling, and from his point of view. I forgot that he's an actor playing a character in a movie, I only see the character and his feelings. There is not even a hint of fakeness in what he does. The way Vijay owns whatever he does is admirable, and this has only become clear to me after watching him for a while, since he does it every time, which is commendable. I am so happy that we have such an actor, who is an absolute treat to watch. Thank you for showing us great cinema and making my family laugh. :D

Suttle dialogs are the highlight and the credit as always goes to the director . Just go watch it !

vjnambu20 November 2018Geetha govindham is the story of Vijay Govind(Vijay Devarakonda), a young and handsome sanskari college lecturer whose dream is to marry a girl who will love him like his deceased mother. He meets Geetha(Rashmika Mandanna) in a temple and falls in love with her but doesn't approach or contact her. When Vijay is travelling to Kakinada for his sister's wedding, he meets geetha in the bus coincidentally. On the advise of his drunk friend(Rahul Ramakrishna), Vijay tries to kiss her but resist himself instead tries to take a selfie. But the bus, hits a speed breaker and vijay accidentally kisses geetha. Geetha slaps vijay and misunderstands him as a cheap person. She informs her brother regarding the incident and tries to capture in the bus so that next morning, her brother teaches him a lesson. But, vijay jumps from the bus and escape. After arriving at his home, vijay comes to know that geetha's brother (subbaraju) is his sister's groom. Geetha saves vijay by refusing to identify considering his good family. Vijay and geetha are later assigned together to take care of the wedding activities. Rest of the film is how geetha's misunderstanding towards vijay is gone and falls in love with him. Though its not flawless its utter sweetness makes you ignore its flaws. The chemistry of lead pair is fabulous. Vijay devarakonda proves his flexibility as an actor. This is his most lovable character ever. From arjun reddy to vijay govind What a transformation! If they had casted an average/below average actor less charming than devarakonda, then it would have been a flop. Rashmika looks beautiful and shines in an author backed role. Another highlight is vennela kishore. When the film was about to turn sentimental, director smartly brings kishore as the groom,who keeps the fun element intact. On the whole its a must watch for rom com lovers.
