Young Kate:
Let me tell you a secret put it in your heart and keep it something that I want you to know
The scar Kate shows to Tom is far too small to represent a status after a cardiac transplant. It should run over the breastbone from the top of the chest as the breastbone needs to be cut in the mid-line in order for the surgeon to open up the chest cavity and reach the heart. Earlier in the film when Kate sits at the table with her family she wears a low cut blouse and there is also no scar visible over the breastbone.
After the traditional credits, the vintage Universal Studios logo with "The Entertainment Center of the World" and image, "When in Hollywood, visit Universal Studios" with a tourist trolley on a movie set. Also seen at the end of Galactica 1980 (1980), The Last Starfighter (1984), and National Lampoon's Animal House (1978). The latter added "When in Hollywood ask for Babs", a character in the movie.
