  • This is not a great movie, but it's not the worst thing i've ever seen. It's fine. The acting was meh, and the story was non existent, ending in an undeserved shootout climax.

Then i read that it was made on a 10k budget, in 2 weeks, with a crew of 3 people. That fits, and for that, it's an achievement, of sorts.

It doesn't deserve all the hate it's getting, but it deserves none of the praise it's getting either. Watch it, don't watch it, you'll forget about it the next day.
  • Everything about this movie was really weak. The acting, the writing, the sound wasn't so great either. It's called the Alpine but we're there fabatsic shots of the outdoor scenery? No.

The whole movie centered around really lame relationship drama from college. There was nothing thrilling about this movie at all. Watching it felt like watching highschool students argue about who slept with who. The ending was rushed and total garbage.

I wish I'd sifted through the very fake reviews and didn't waste my time watching this.
  • You know a movie is going to be bad when the camera is focused on something which it will not reveal for at least 5 minutes with all the characters staring at the wall in horror and shock. And after they are all terrified and want to leave asap.... they don't.

In short, several college friends are invited to a summer lodge. Everyone still wants to sleep with each other, the relationships are completely not credible, and the writing is written like it was done by high school teenager. This is really dreck. The actors had a hard time selling it because the script just is a prolonged excuse to keep suspense for 90 minutes with nothing actually happening until it hits its final reveal. Don't waste your time or believe the numerous fake reviews. Almost 166 reviewers unanimously agreed with a 7/10 rating and that never happens.

So, I am over an hour into the movie. The acting is bad. There is no real story. The characters are annoying and chliché. It is boring AF. I am lretty shure the other reviews are not real.
  • 2/10 stars

cons - bad direction terrible screenplay/script terrible cinematography convoluted and bland story telling also, this is neither horror nor a thriller

pros - mediocre acting (not really a pro, but with a better director, the actors could have definitely done better)

The movie feels fake and unbelievable. The acting is bad and the ratings that are higher than 3 is fake. Don't waste your time. I could not finish it.

Would you like to sit through an hour and thirty minutes of really poorly written, middle-school level relationship drama, with a terrible payoff at the end? Well this one's for you.

Don't waste time on this mess. Horrible acting and bad screenplay. College idiot hell. Looks like the cast and crew jumped on here first with the "rave" reviews.
  • I see a lot of negative reviews on here. For some reason, maybe I missed something, but I found the movie right on point. An interesting take on The Seven Deadly Sins. Has it been done before? Of course. But this version entertained me. And the ending? It ended the way it hand to. The way it was always going to. I'm a fan. 7/10.
  • I don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to just inform people, that the positive reviews on this film are obviously fake... I fell for the trap, and my god it is horrible, absolute waste of time. One of the worst movies I've ever seen, absolutely childish teen drama, almost no horror. A predictable twist. Just plain bad. DON'T WATCH THIS.

EDIT: Okay so there is a review by an account: gened27... it is just fascinating to me the lengths the filmmakers involved in this movie would go to somehow defend their movie. This account is literally just created on the day they posted a lengthy rant of a review, so obvious it is one of the people involved in this film. Now that their fake generic reviews are being caught, they're trying to give more nuanced reviews with a 7 rating and not just straight up 10. I mean c'mon... this is not helping your movie, a huge part of the reason people are giving it 1's and 2's is because they feel cheated by the fake reviews, STOP IT. And also, budget doesn't affect the quality of the script. The plot, the characters, everything wrong with this movie, could've been solved in the screenplay, this is not even a vomit first draft of a script. Swallow the criticism and do better next time.
  • 8/10.

I really liked the movie, I don't know why it has such bad comments. It wasn't slow, boring, predictable to me, nor was the acting bad. He kept his attention all the time. I also liked the end, but the last scene confused me a bit. P. S. Daniel Victor (Roger) is a most beutiful guy.

All in all, he's good, look. Recommendation.

    Warning: Spoilers
A group of 7 old school friends are invited to a chalet. Although at first they gathered to reminisce about the old days and laugh and have fun, over time, past relationships are revealed and tension begins.

There are dozens of similar movies. The plot is not interesting, the acting is amateur, the characters are cheesy and stupid. Because you have been invited to the house, the inviter is unknown, it is written on the wall meaning you will be killed with blood. E cars were not damaged. Get on and run. No, but they continue to stay in that house as if everything is normal. All the elements are problematic. I would expect that a bait would be thrown, and everyone who had an old account with each other would kill each other. And the person who suffers the most from them should just watch what's going on.

The movie is a quarter-thriller, less horror movie shot as an amateur.

While I applaud the effort of a minimal cast and budget, a poorly written script undermined it all. I was expecting an Agatha Christie "And Then There Were None" vibe, but instead watched a MTV soap opera starring whiny dysfunctional "adults" who still quibble over college sex partners. Ew. Maybe I'm a prude by today's standards, but having never swapped friends, I can't relate to the weird dynamics. The main plot point of "secrets" turned out to be quite pedestrian- drug use, sleeping around/ cheating, lying, etc. For this group, it was all in a dorm days work, so what's the big deal now, 5 years later?! Approaching 30, I would assume most rational people have moved on and don't care. While I don't think the acting was the worst I've seen (annoying at times for sure, though), the plot holes drove me crazy. First of all, it takes 4 hours for someone to bring up the invitation. Seriously? No one immediately arrived to the house and thought to talk about, oh I don't know, the REUNION? Who was the first to arrive? How did they get in to the house if it's a mystery who set it all up? Just dumb and insulting to my intelligence. And how convenient the mystery and ensuing fright reveals itself during a- dun..dun...dunnnhhh- storm! The same convenient "storm" that takes out the road apparently, rendering them trapped of course! Maybe I missed the part where they discovered this, but I only recall someone simply stating it as fact and all go along with it. I guess I'm tired of the "no cell reception, no way to leave" plot devices. Then a tire blows out, yada yada yada and it all feels overdone.

Again, maybe I was a different type of adult at that age, but I had zero interest in rekindling college flames ("I had a crush on you"... "cool, let's get it on while I'm supposedly in the midst of withdrawal"). And another personal peeve is how everyone wanted to bang Andy. Blech. I guess I'm not a dude and can't understand the appeal. It all just played out like a middle-school fantasy, complete with matching juvenile dialogue. But nothing excuses the ending. Having dealt with mental illness personally and professionally, this felt gimmicky. Cry baby Zach can't move on to adulthood and make new friends so he devises a scheme to torture the old ones who are obviously morons in their own right? Boo hoo- lame. "Nobody called me back!!!" Maybe because you're as insufferable as the rest of them? The icing on the cake was when the stone cold lawyer turns into "the Cleaner" because apparently the police will never believe 5 corroborating witnesses to a crime scene that pretty much speaks for itself. Uhhh... wtf? Lastly, the biggest unsolved mystery of all... where the hell were the Alpines??
  • I admit it, I got hooked in by the high reviews thinking this could be a decent watch. But having watched the film, and read the rave reviews, it was clear who was writing them! Don't waste your time on this drivel...terrible acting, awful storyline, no tension or suspense. Worse film I've seen in a long, long time.
  • I am super pissed after seeing this. I wouldn't even call this a Movie. At the end it was kinda predictable. Meh. Acting was so bad you can't even wait for the movie to end. Skip it! Please.

When I saw this movie I saw it because of some good reviews here in Imdb. I really don't understand why. Bad acting, bad script in a story that we've seen again and again and again. The cliches i think are all there. Not one was forgotten. It's not that bad but there's absolutely nothing new here.
  • berbenzin23 September 2021
Do not pay attention to the reviews, they are all fake. The film is rightly cheap but much more silly and weak. The script is very childish, the dialogues are superficial and silly, the directing and shooting is beginner level. Do not waste your time.
  • I literally saw the cameraman in the reflection of the window in one scene. I give it two stars because I appreciate trashy movies. This wasn't entertaining though. So bad that, unfortunately, it is bad.

This movie was a fair character study about old friends who meet up in an isolated cabin. During a bad storm, true motives for the reunion are borne. A fair whodunit. Check it out.
  • Prepare the most obvious fake punches, peak overacting, and a script that could rival the one you wrote in high school.

If you're hoping for scares, thrills, or any kind of tension, I'd recommend seeking another movie.

    Warning: Spoilers
This movie just lasts forever and ever. I'm only 3/4 through and it feels like days.

No one is likable and their secrets and problems are boring. I don't mind slow burns or dialog driven movies - but have some suspense, intrigue, mystery. Have some scintillating conversation. Give us characters we could care about.

Not only that, these idiots couldn't have the careers and jobs they claim. They're too stupid.

The actors did try, but the dialogues and scenes were just so bad.

I'm watching this so you don't have to.
  • What a great find! Yes, the movie does start off a little slow, but the ending is so worth the wait! Once things get going, it never lets up! Very rich character work here (Logan & Zach being the real standouts for me). I don't wanna spoil anything, but just stick with it and you won't be disappointed! Trust me!
  • It's not a good script, but it's acted out pretty well. This is the sort of thing that would have been great if it had been funded adequately. The premise is OK, it needed refining. I can tell it was alright because I got to the end, and it's not my usual kind of film. If you put this on stage, as a play, it would get rave reviews....you could do the whole thing on stage. It's more a theatre production than a film, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was written by someone that does that and not film.
  • One of the worst movies I ever tried to watch. I feel insulted by the kind of drivell that I am being offered as an " intense psychological thriller"

Bad acting, bad plot, bad script. BTW tires don't sound like a gunshot when they go flat.

It was impossible to finish this entire garbage.
  • Warning: Spoilers
I don't know who gave this movie 10/10 except those who were in the movie i mean actors , director ...

bad acting , i think they shouldn't call themselves actors !

I literally haven't seen as this bad as these guys did !!!!

    I mean come on !!!!

After bad acting / bad directing , bad script !

    Story !

You recieve a letter from a long time no see friend and you don't even bother yourself to call that friend and make sure that if he/she in the right place in his/her mind to send a letter to invite you to a party and not just call you (story is about some old friends that recieve a invitation letter to a party from themeselves without knowing that the letter isn't from their freinds !!!!!!!!! ) ! Yeah people this was the plot of this movie ! Dumb as this !

And every minute you hear a cheesy line from every character ! And every time they just over react to something stupid i just end my watching near half of this movie because i felt insulted .
