Entertaining show, but not consistent at all with their scores
  • The audio is all over the place and the scoring system is very flawed
  • I have now watched all of the '72-series' on Netflix, and this is their crown and jewel. With interesting and describing stories about dangerous, cute and ugly animals. While it sometimes is a bit overly exaggerated, they are informive in the best way. And we can barely take our eyes of some animals. Solid 9/10

This show is full of amazing animal footage, personal victim accounts, and neat animal facts. However, the ranking system for the animals is absolutely horrendous. First of all, animals are put into categories for each episode, and the categories are usually either very generic (could be applied to any of the 72 animals) or they don't even fit the animal that was put into them. Secondly, there are many animals that probably should have been put in the "top 11" that the show created but were not allowed in there due to the fact that they shared an episode with a slightly more dangerous animal. Third, some of the animals shown were hardly dangerous at all. Some of them hadn't even killed a single person on the planet. So why were they even included? Lastly, and huge spoiler here, the animal that was categorized as the most dangerous of all 72 animals shown was the box jellyfish. They said this is because it kills around 200 people a year and that its venom can kill within 5 minutes. Yes, that is very deadly, but there were other animals in the show such as the Russell's Viper that have killed more than 15,000 PEOPLE in a year, and they are supposed to be less deadly? Just don't go into the tropical water without being cautious or prepared and you can be pretty safe from the jellyfish. With the snake, or dare I say the mosquito, they can go just about anywhere and have a death count thousands of times higher! In the end, while the show can be entertaining to watch, the rankings are so dreadful that I ended up being more angry than anything else when it was over.
  • If you like the dangerous animal stuff they show on like Discovery and Animal Planet, you might like this, if you haven't already seen most of these on YT. But it's just a recycled formula with old content. Didn't cost Netflix much to make I imagine.

As others have said, the ranking system is at best pointless, at it's worst it's insulting.

Really??? You know how you can avoid a box jellyfish don't go in the friggin ocean! Can you avoid a mosquito by what not going out to open air? I seriously doubt that!!! Stupid!!!
  • The show was pretty decent for showing some interesting information. The ranking system and results were horrendous. The narrator got tiring to listen to after a while.
