Kurt Cobain was a very troubled man who also happened to be an excellent singer/songwriter and underrated musician.
When he took his own life in April, 1994, this performance of "All Apologies" from the not yet released "MTV Unplugged in New York" album became forever eerie. In hindsight, it seems like Kurt is saying goodbye. I don't know if that's what he was doing, but this performance will always be incredibly sad to me because of how things ended for him.
