Yago Costa is a former police inspector who serves sentence in prison for committing murder in an interrogation room. Now, thanks to Sara Sibilio, a young journalist, he has the opportunity to tell the world why he did it.
Despite the dead threat Sara received in her mail, she does not hesitate to continue with the investigation. This time, Yago tells her how he solved a case of drug traffic where Lola's Solozabal sister was involved.
There is no news from Lola. Her car has been found in the harbor, submerged under the sea. The nightmare begins when they discover a corpse inside the trunk. Yago and Luis will not stop until they find out what happened.
Sara manages to interview Lola Solozabal, who warns her about the dangerous situation she is living. Despite this, Sara does not abandon the investigation. For the first time, Yago shares with her the most personal cases of his career.
Some evidence has disappeared from the police station and everything indicates that Luis is responsible. Yago tries to cover him but everything gets complicated when one of the most important people in Yago's life dies.
Yago is under house arrest, but that doesn't stop him from continuing his investigations. He discovers that behind Marga's dead there is a large-scale political corruption case and he won't stop until discovering the real culprit.
Lola warns Sara about her reportage, but the journalist is not ready to give up, she wants to know the truth. Yago tells her how Luis was appointed commissioner and didn't have time for Tachenko's case. So, he had to solve it without help.
The broadcast of Sara's reportage has been canceled and now her life is in danger. With the help of a Yago's friend she will reveal the world what she discovered. Besides, Yago has been transferred to the hospital in a critical condition.
