| Excellent End to Fantastic Revival
This revival IS different from the original three seasons. The most obvious difference is the adult themes (language, gore, more explicit sex scenes, etc). Fans will also notice that, while Veronica was previously always at the center of the action, the revival gives plenty of screen time to new characters and their individual stories-with no Veronica in sight. At points it can feel hard to root for Veronica, as she allows her demons to get the best of her (almost resembling Logan in the past, and vice versa), but not so much so that you resent her or this new character development. It all feels appropriate with her age and the trauma from her past.

Overall, the revival still has the heart of the original, especially so in scenes between Keith and V. Pacing is great, acting is excellent, and new characters are likable. The last episode gets a bit convoluted when it comes to "Don," but is otherwise both thrilling and bold. I've reading other reviews and to say the end of a romance would negate everything seen previously is absolutely ridiculous, and I have no idea how you could say so as a fan. I've loved all of Veronicas boyfriends (Logan, Leo, Piz-maybe not so much Duncan), and I of course want to see Veronica happy. But I also believe that, if they wanted to be consistent with the darker themes the revival had set, this was perfectly appropriate. I would have found it much harder had something happened to Keith, but I wouldn't give up on the show I had waited so long to watch again. I'm happy this show has consequences and weight...and I know it's sad, I cried too-still-I look forward to the next season! Thank you, Rob.
