The show is gripping till episode 6th, but later on the show drags, multiple storylines which doesn't focus on the main plot.
The suspense element was handled good, but the payoff wasnt shocking, plus they don't even show how the crime actually happened.
That's the most disappointing thing from a season finale. If they would have subtracted that jail rivalry plot line and focused more on the payoff for the main murderer, it would have been atleast a 8/10

vaibhisood11 April 2019It is a very good show, it is rare for me to watch 10 episodes each more than 45 minutes long , in a single day. but i did watch the entire show in one day. The show is very gripping and well acted. the screenplay is a little slow but still i liked it .

It's a gripping and takes you through the end. It was so gripping that I finished it in 10hours. And it does deserve it. The people who like thriller dramas, you guys have a lot to watch for. A super strong star cast with superb performances. A must watch for Jackie Shroff as you can see his raw personality through criminal justice, Pankaj Tripathi, Vikrant and Layak.

For those who are giving it poor rating, saying that it is a copy of "the night of", i would like to say that "the night of" itself is a remake of the original award winning 2008 bbc series "criminal justice". After that too, people still appreciated "the night of" because the original series has gone too old. I will suggest, please do not watch it if you have already watched "the night of". but if you haven't watched that yet, that definitely give it a watch. you will love it. The point is that, you can't critcize it just because you found it like "the night of", as that was itself a remake of the original series like this one.

Once again Vikrant Messy impressed me with his acting. And supporting cast like pamkaj tripathi, Jacky sherrof was too good with their role. Awesome coreograph and directed. Good work.

Acting - One word, Amazing. Specially Pankaj Tripathi, you want him to be more and more on the screen. Characters make you feel of the confusion and contradictions that they are in. The police officer is also a new actor discovered by the web platform.
Story - Good story, could've have been sharper. But in order to be close to reality, lack of sharpness can be ignored as often the reality is.
Direction - Beautiful smooth direction amidst the chaos. Applaudable camera work too. -

Awesome adaptation of the original Criminal Justice series. Whoever is saying it is copied, for their information I would like to clarify that the original 2008 series and this Indian series both are produced by same producer BBC. So I would suggest please don't be ignorant and confirm your half-knowledge from available facts so that you won't ridicule yourself.

ravish916 April 2019I have decided to subscribe to web channels than wasting my money on TV, after seeing shoes like Criminal Justice on Hotstar, or Selection Day on Netflix, or Yeh meri Family and Pitchers on TVF. Criminal justice is delight to watch . It is superb in all area with crisp and interesting narration style and tight plotting. Every actor has done brilliant job, but the show stealer is PANKAJ TRIPATHI as a simple lawyer pressed by his needs and raised by his humanity. This man plays so subtly hia role that his modest humble appearance whenever it occurs, it elevates ur mood, makes u believe in the power of simplicity and you fall in love with Madhav Mishra. Pankaj Tripathy's performance is indeed something which actors should learn from. Just watch his varieties of human emotion with calm face...His need to money, his desire to help the innocent boy, his frustration on Nikhay botching up the case yet maintaining the calm, and meeting rudest of person with ease and get hia job done. This man is certainly amon the best actors today existing jn Hindi cinema, in the league of Manoj Bajpai, Irfan Khan, Sanjay Mishra, Nawaz and Raj Kumar Rao. U can watch a movie just for him.
There r some flaws but not that big. After revealing the culprit , the crime must have been reconstructed which the director gave a miss. Also the pairing of Nikhat and Madhav Mishra was so much delightful...You must have estaablished a romantic bridge between them. I am waiting for the second case of Madhav Mishra and Nikhat together. They r our new found Byomkesh Bakshi and Ajit Bandyopadhyay. And a romantic bridging is necessary between them...They look so lovely and apt to each other.
Finally, who needs TV when you have web channels making such great serials! -
prakashahuja-9089830 April 2019I liked this series but honestly the jail scenes were too much. This 7.45 Hours would have easily cut down to 3 hours. I was getting bored after 3 hours cause Jail, Court scenes were repeated many times on the contrary they would have showed how the girl was murdered.

raviraman-6037417 April 2019In first two three episode they maintained tempo, the story and and thrill was good but after that story became slow, unnecessary lengthy jail politics scene, the twist was not twisty as they were trying to show, it could be finished maximum in 6-7 episode, but overall story timeline is good, acting of pankaj tripathi is awesome as always... They tried to cover all the angle of judicial system that was good, overall experience was good but it could be better as i said...in India they tried new thing so yes u should watch it...

uroojhassan12 January 2021Honestly at first I thought this was a copy of HBO's resume as the night of, so I didn't think I was going to enjoy it. Although it was similar in the starting it took a different turn the acting of each actor was incredible direction was great as the first time I actually liked and enjoyed watching Jackie Shroff, for the first time, his character suited him he did it well. The main actor did his character really well he will go far he did a good job. Overall, it was a great show and I didn't want to stop watching it.

This series is completely logical and felt true and real. The lawyers in this movie investigated the case and found the missing dots which the Police couldn't. This movie proves there are many who might be in jail without actually doing any crime. If the lawyers and police also work sincerely, the judiciary will the right justice to the victim. Also it seems, the scientific evidence should be only basis someone should be prosecuted.

rajeev-vasani13 June 2019The writers of this series made one cardinal mistake. When you write a murder mystery, you cannot not introduce the killers and their personality traits till the end. The audience is trying to guess the killer at all points with the available information and feels cheated when a lot of new information is provided only towards the end. That is what happened with me here. Other aspects are good but the suspense revealed at the end is a let down. The ending reveals about the head of an NGO being a child abuser. Extremely cliched.

The series is stretched like a bubblegum with boring subplots of Jail politics and family struggle melodrama. Important leads like the phone records and rehab center is overlooked by the defence lawyers in the beginning. Just to stretch the story for several hours and to come back to it in the end. Instead of focusing on the investigation which would have been much more interesting. We are bored to death with the jail story which completely deviates and becomes a series of its own. I had to skip all the jail scenes just to be able to watch this series. Even Pankaj Tripati's brilliance couldn't save this and hope if there is a second season, they get rid of such boring subplots and focus on what the audience came to see in the first place.
