Director Jim Powers was in a creative phase when he shot this edition of his hit "Perverted Stories" series in September 1998, resulting in four well-made and distinctive vignettes.
Opener is very impressive, almost a classic. Titled "Bloodbath", it features a relatively unknown busty performer Jessica Jewel, who is covered in blood as a couple of vampire studs bite her neck and go gonzo with her body in a strong threesome ending in a d.p. Even in porn terms the physical activity seems outrageous and a testament to the performers' professionalism, and is far more erotic than various similar exercises in gross-out by the famous gutter pornographers of the day Max Hardcore and Lizzy Borden/Rob Black.
A familiar theme in Powers' work, namely explicit sex with a ventiloquist's dummy, is expanded to a threesome by featuring two dummies. Allysin Chaynes is very effective as the bewildered lass trying to make sense of two talking dolls, both outfitted with big plastic cocks, and under Powers' weirdo direction performing a d.p. that is more interesting to watch than the usual, as throughout the scene one has the "how'd he do that?" reaction to the staging. One wonders if Jim Henson's puppet shop ever goes in for such outre porn diversions when not on the clock doing their Muppets and monsters thing.
Always attempting to astound his audience, Powers cast the voluptuous Christgen Wolf in "The Human Plunger", in which she's trapped in a toilet stall with a prison inmate, just sprung from stir after serving his sentence, during which she corresponded with him romantically by letter. He humps her violently and the title derives from his forcing her head into the full toilet bowl during sex, with added touch of a definite look (yellow) of urine to the liquid contained therein. No doubt Powers had a Number Two sequel planned to this scene.
Finale is sardonically titled "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling", featuring the beautiful Euro star Alexandra Nice finding the gold coins left (mythically) by leprechauns, only to be raped by one of the little green men. Instead of hiring Napoleon or another Chatsworth dwarf actor, Powers opted for a 5-ft. tall stud, presumably JJ Michaels, though heavy makeup hindered my making a positive identification.
