The most twisted show on television is back with a whole new slate of characters and a new list of games. Yep, “Squid Game” Season 2 is finally here, and it’s time to meet its players.
The first season of the Netflix original created by Hwang Dong-hyuk ended with Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) winning the Squid Game, taking home 45.6 billion won and proving that some people are intrinsically good to the game’s creator. Though the money fixed Gi-hun’s financial woes, it forever changed him. This time around, his goal isn’t to get out of debt. It’s to take down the Squid Game no matter what it takes, even if that means going back into this horrific competition to do so.
Wondering who’s who in this wild drama? Consider this your guide to the major players as well as the shows and movies where you may know these South Korean actors.

Another year and another Korean drama with the word “romance” in it. Personally, off the top of my head, I can think of two others I’ve seen in recent years, Romance Is A Bonus Book (a title that’s going to keep popping into my mind while I write about Romance in the House) and Crash Course on Romance. Now, while the first of these is an age-gap romance where the woman is older, the second one is also targeted at an older demographic. Is romance just for the middle-aged? Obviously not, but I find it mildly amusing that the common factor in these three shows is the word “romance” and that they’re all middle-age romances. Anyway, Romance in the House is about Geum Ye-Yeon and her little family. Well, mainly about her and her elder daughter. The show stars two idols as siblings, 2nd generation’s Na-Eun...

Netflix has signed a production and distribution agreement with Korean media outfit Cj Enm and its subsidiary Studio Dragon, one of the country’s leading series producers.
Studio Dragon has credits including the Guardian: The Lonely And Great God, which is one of Korea’s most successful shows of all time.
The three-year pact, kicking off in 2020, will see Studio Dragon produce original series that Netflix will distribute on its platform globally. The streamer will also receive distribution rights to other select Studio Dragon titles not produced through the partnership.
The deal follows pre-existing ties between Cj, Studio Dragon and Netflix, which has seen the SVoD stream series including Stranger, Mr. Sunshine, Memories of Alhambra, Romance Is A Bonus Book, and Arthdal Chronicles.
As part of the partnership, Cj Enm will also have the right to sell up to 4.99% of Studio Dragon shares to Netflix.

As the Oscars buzz officially dies down, it’s finally time to turn our heads to other shows and movies that may no longer be on the big-screen but are now available to stream from the comfort of our homes. This March, Netflix is offering viewers new seasons of binge-worthy favorites and new original series.
“Queer Eye” is making a return with its third season, which will take its five lovable leads, Antoni, Tan, Karamo, Bobby and Jonathan, to Missouri rather than its usual home base of Atlanta. But there will also a wide variety of new shows to start binging this month, like Netflix’s original animated series “Love, Death, & Robots” which, as its name suggests and its trailer confirms, will certainly involve a lot of sex and robots. Anime lovers have a lot to be excited about as the streaming service will be releasing the first three seasons...
