Satisfying Old School Continental porn
Lavishly produced, as befitting a Marc Dorcel release, this forgotten VHS feature was not even listed in IMDb till I just added it, over two decades late.
Unspooling in untranslated French, it was nevertheless fairly easy for me to follow the basic plotline, concerning various scammers fooling a couple of movie producers to part with millions of dollars on a film project featuring the lovely Lea Martini. Unlike most porn in this inside the industry genre, there is no actual filmmaking going on, just scamming.
Brit Porn's favorite Black mainstay Omar Williams plays a dual role and is pivotal to the excellent final reel (after the final cum shot is delivered), filled with violent twists and plot turns, leading to an amoral happy ending. The ensemble cast mixing familiar 1990s workhorses (Alan Lyle in the lead role plus Philippe Dean and Richard Lengin) with some obscure beauties create convincing characters. I was quite surprised at the quality of Alessandro del Mar's direction, after recently watching his horrible "The Lonesome Night" shot just one year later.
Part 1 of this 2-part saga was unavailable to me, but this video begins with an effective brief recap of the earlier action.
